Good and Faithful Servant
My career coach is lazy and is only capable of avoiding work by earn money when client ask for interview preparation push the client here and there.

We hear your frustration, and we understand how discouraging it can be when someone in a position of guidance fails to fulfill their responsibilities with integrity. Your time, effort, and future are valuable, and it’s right to expect diligence from those who are supposed to help you. Let’s bring this before the Lord together, seeking His wisdom and justice.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 13:4, "The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied." It’s clear that laziness not only harms the one who practices it but also those who depend on them. We rebuke this spirit of slothfulness in your career coach’s life and pray that God would either stir their heart to faithfulness or remove them from your path so you are not hindered. You deserve someone who will labor earnestly on your behalf, as Colossians 3:23 instructs: "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

We also lift you up before the Lord, asking that He would give you discernment in this situation. If this coach is not willing to change, we pray God would open doors for you to connect with someone who will truly invest in your success. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established." Seek out godly mentors, trusted professionals, or even Scripture-based resources that can help you prepare for interviews and advance in your career.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in this situation. Lord, You see the frustration and the wasted potential here. We ask that You would either convict this career coach to change their ways or remove them from our brother/sister’s path. Provide them with someone who will work diligently and with integrity, someone who will honor You in their efforts. Give our brother/sister wisdom to know when to persevere and when to seek other guidance. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon their career. We trust in Your provision and timing, Lord, and we declare that this setback will not define their future. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take proactive steps in your career preparation. Study Scripture on diligence, such as Proverbs 6:6-11, and seek out resources that can help you grow independently. Consider reaching out to other professionals in your field for advice or mentorship. God can use even this frustrating situation to refine your character and teach you to rely on Him more fully. Remember, Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." You are not alone in this journey.

We hear the frustration in your words, it’s draining when someone you’re paying to help you grow seems to be dodging the very work they promised. It makes sense that you’d feel let down, especially when you’re trying to prepare for interviews and instead end up pushed from one thing to another.

One thing that might help: consider initiating a brief, direct conversation with your coach about what you need. You could say something like, “I’m here because I want hands‑on interview prep, and the current approach isn’t working for me. Could we set a concrete plan for the next session?” Sometimes naming the gap, calmly and clearly, is enough to get a person off autopilot. If that doesn’t shift things, it may be worth quietly exploring other resources, maybe your school’s career office, a networking group, or even a trusted colleague who could do a mock interview with you.

You’re not responsible for managing your coach, but you do have more control here than it might feel right now. Taking that small step could either get the support you need or give you the clarity to move on.

Lord, You see how much this person wants to work faithfully and move forward. Please give them wisdom and steady peace as they figure out their next step. Raise up the right people, whether this coach or someone else, who will truly help them prepare and grow. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

You have met with a man who fails in his duty, and this is no small vexation. But let not your heart be troubled, nor allow a root of bitterness to spring up within you. The Lord, who is your true Guide, may be using this very disappointment to teach you that it is better to trust in Himself than to put confidence in princes, or in the sons of men, in whom there is no help. When earthly counselors prove idle, the heavenly Counselor draws nearer. Have you not found it so? That which seems to be a mere annoyance may be the shadow of a coming mercy. The Shepherd of Israel does not slumber nor sleep; He will direct your steps, and His Word shall be a lamp unto your feet when human guides are nothing worth.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things, even the common necessities of your calling shall be added unto you. Perhaps you have been leaning overmuch on this coach, and the Lord would have you lean wholly upon His arm. He permits the staff to break that you may cling to the Rock of Ages. Remember, too, that this poor man stands in need of that very grace you have yourself received. Instead of murmuring, pray that the goodness of God may lead him to repentance. Who can tell but that your patient and quiet spirit may be a word of testimony to him? As for your interview, commit your way unto the Lord, and He shall bring it to pass. His goodness is laid up for those who fear Him, and He will work it out before the sons of men. Look up, then, and be not dismayed. The trial is short, but the kindness of the Lord is everlasting.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you encounter negligence in one who ought to be serving you, do not let your heart grow bitter. Remember that we are called to bear the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance. Against such things there is no law, and they flourish where patience masters resentment. This coach has been entrusted with a stewardship, and those who take no heed to fulfill what they have received in the Lord will answer for their sloth. But that is not your burden. Your task is to guard your own soul. Let your complaint become prayer, and water your couch with tears for him, that he may awaken from his negligence. Yet do not let his idleness become an excuse for your own. Whatever earthly assistance you lack, seek all the more diligently the wisdom that comes from above. Use this trial as a whetstone for your humility and long-suffering, and you will find that the delay of men often speeds the work of God in you.

Your frustration makes perfect sense. When someone is paid to help you but instead avoids the work and pushes you around, it stirs something deeper than just annoyance. That churning restlessness you feel? It points to more than a lazy career coach. Solomon called it "vexation of spirit", that hollow frustration that keeps cycling through disappointment, escape, and guilt. It rises because we are made with a spirit that no human effort alone can satisfy.

We keep hoping a person or a system will come through, and when they don't, the emptiness echoes. Jesus stands in that gap, offering to fill what no career coach, no job, no human success ever could. He said, "Come to me and drink." The thirst you feel right now isn't just a thirst for a better coach, it's a thirst for meaning, direction, and peace that only God can quench. It's easy to get stuck on the slothfulness of someone else, but Proverbs has plenty to say about the sluggard who won't even bring his hand to his mouth. You can't make that person diligent. But you can shift your focus from the one who drops the ball to the One who holds your future.

Take a page from David's life. Before every major move, whether facing a giant or fleeing his own son, he stopped and inquired of the Lord. He didn't just lean on his own understanding or fume over the failures of others. Go to God with this. Ask Him to guide your interview preparation, to open doors no lazy counselor can shut, and to give you quietness of heart even while dealing with a house full of strife. A dry morsel with tranquility beats a feast with turmoil every time.

So resist the cycle. Instead of rehearsing the coach's faults, bring your frustration to Jesus and ask for clear steps forward. Trust that the Lord disposes the outcome, not the coach's lack of effort. Let that truth become a strong tower you run into, right in the middle of the chaos. He will direct you. He will settle your spirit. Wait on Him, and watch how He provides in ways no human sloth can block.
