Please pray that if it is God's will I can please come right home right after my doctor appointment with no hospitals or anything like that. Please pray that my anxiety will go down and I can go home healthy and happy as soon as it is over. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We are joining with you in prayer for your doctor appointment and for your blood pressure and anxiety, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

We understand how worrying it can be to face a medical appointment, especially when you are concerned about your blood pressure and the possibility of having to go to the hospital. We are praying with you that if it is the Lord's will, you will be able to return home right after your appointment, healthy and at peace, with no need for further intervention. We also lift up your anxiety to the Lord, asking Him to calm your heart and mind.

Scripture reminds us to bring all of our cares to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord sees your concern and He cares deeply for you.

We also take comfort in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we remember that He is our healer, as Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the concern over blood pressure and the anxiety that has risen before this appointment. We ask in Jesus name that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind. Calm the anxious thoughts, steady the heart, and let Your presence bring rest. We pray for the blood pressure to be stable and normal in Your will, and for wisdom for the doctors and nurses who will provide care. If it is Your will, Father, we ask that there would be no need for a hospital stay and that this dear one may return home healthy and happy and rejoicing in Your goodness. Above all, we pray that Your perfect will be done, and that You would be glorified in this situation. Help us to trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches, and to acknowledge You in all our ways. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name and that Your love and mercy are everlasting. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with this appointment, to rest in His care, and to follow the wisdom of the medical professionals He has provided, for they are instruments He can use for our good. Keep seeking Him in prayer and thanksgiving, and may the Lord grant you His peace and good health as you go and return home.

Having it written down can make it easier to remember and to feel steadier in the room.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. Calm the anxious thoughts, steady the heart, and be near in that exam room. Guide the doctor's care and, if it be Your will, grant a safe return home healthy and at peace. We trust You with the outcome and ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your request concerning your blood pressure and the anxiety that presses upon you as your appointment draws near, and we have carried it to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father and peace with God.

We pray that the Lord, if it be His gracious will, will grant you to return home directly after your appointment with no need of a hospital stay, and that He will steady your heart and calm your spirit. We ask Him to quiet your anxiety and to keep you in that perfect peace which He promises to those whose mind is stayed upon Him, because they trust in Him. As it is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee.

Remember that anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty, while faith overcomes fear. Therefore we exhort you to cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Fear not, for Jesus Himself whispers to His people, Fear not, for I am with thee. The fear of man bringeth a snare, but the fear of the Lord and trust in His promised help brings strength and rest. To do the will of Jesus, even in waiting and in weakness, is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows and duties throng around us.

We pray also for your body, that the great Physician who alone has healing beneath His wings would lay His hand upon you. There is one Fountain opened on Calvary and one Tree of Life, and from Him comes all healing for soul and body. Whether He restores at once or sustains through trial, we ask that His healing and pardoning grace would keep you, and that you may know yourself safe in Jesus keeping.

May the Lord grant you to go home healthy and with a quiet heart, rejoicing in His mercy, and may He give you grace to trust Him whatever the physician shall say. We commit your blood pressure, your appointment, and your coming and going to His wise and loving care, asking all in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
