Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your need and for asking for prayer. We have heard your request for your blood pressure to come down and remain stable, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus.
We remember that our Lord showed His power to heal the body, and when He touched those who were sick with fever He not only removed the disease but restored them to perfect health at once. Nothing is too small or too hidden for His care, and He is able to give strength and steadiness to the body as well as peace to the soul.
We pray for you now, that God in His mercy would calm and steady your blood pressure, grant you health and quietness of heart, and sustain you day by day. We ask Him to give wisdom to you and to those who care for you, that you may find what helps your body to be nourished and at rest. Scripture reminds us that sufficiency is nourishment and health, while excess burdens the body, so we pray also for grace to live with moderation, with food that is sufficient and well measured, with rest, and with trust in God rather than anxiety.
May the Lord keep you in His peace, guard your heart and body, and grant you stable health for His glory. We continue to remember you in prayer, asking all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our healer and our hope. Amen.
