It's a growing process and as you grow in the knowledge of the Lord by reading the word, meditating on it, and asking Holy Spirit for revelation knowledge.it begins to break like a hammer, the lies and deceptions of the enemy and then Holy Spirit says, I don't want you walking that way anymore, walk this way and He leads you on the paths of righteousness.
Here's one to chew on:
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Holy Spirit comes to make us His dwelling place. We are joined unto the Lord and now we are ONE with Him. All that the Father and Son are, live in us by Holy Spirit.
Truth is revealed...you are dead. Your old man died with Christ on the cross, was buried with Him and you rose again in new life (spirit). A new creation, born again. If you have not been water baptized, I encourage you to do so. This signifies that all your sins are 'washed' away and when you come up out of the water, you are 'born' anew. Just like a babe in the womb. The baby is due to be born.The water breaks, then the baby goes through the birth canal (a painful process) and then there is the new creation and you are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Really beautiful process!
We love God with all our hearts mind and strength and we love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Instead of cursing our enemies, now we are commanded to bless them. Bless your enemies, bless and curse not. You've been created to be love and to love others as God loves you. Really a beautiful life to live in Christ. To be dead to 'self' and it's 'selfish' deeds.
Father, thank you for Dario. Grow Dario up in all things in Christ Jesus. Baptize Dario in your love no matter what comes their way, they will know and understand that they are dead in Christ and alive to God.
