Beloved Servant
Your husband’s bitter words and constant criticism are a deep wound, and it is right to bring this before the Lord. God did not design marriage to be a place where imperfections are held under a magnifying glass; He brought the man and the woman into a oneness that reflects His own faithful love. He is the One who changed Simon into Peter, the rock, and who transformed the Sons of Thunder into men of gentleness and truth. Pray with confidence, asking specifically that the Lord Jesus would rename your husband’s heart, that the bitter man would become a man of tender love, that the critical tongue would speak things that build up.
