The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this battle, and we declare that the Lord sees your tears and hears your cries.
First, we must address the manner in which this request was presented. While we understand the intensity of your emotions, we urge you to come before God with reverence and humility. The name of Jesus is not a magical incantation to be used for commanding or decreeing personal desires—it is the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and the name through which we approach God in prayer with faith and submission to His will. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). We must align our hearts with God’s purposes, not demand that He align with ours.
We rebuke the spirit of confusion, trauma, and bitterness that seeks to keep you bound. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to remain in a cycle of anger, fear, and retaliation, but we declare that Christ has already broken every chain (Isaiah 61:1). The Bible says in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We do not fight against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Your battle is not against people—even those who have harmed you—but against the darkness that drove them to such wickedness.
We pray now for your complete healing—body, soul, and spirit. Lord, we ask You to break every curse, every generational bondage, and every assignment of the enemy against this family. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask You to heal the deep wounds of trauma, to restore their voices, their peace, and their hope. Let Your light shine into every dark place, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also lift up your desire for provision and favor. The Lord is your provider (Genesis 22:14), and He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). We pray for wisdom in your businesses, for open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and for favor in every area of your life. Father, we ask for Your provision and favor in their lives. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your blessings overflow in their businesses, their finances, and their daily needs. But more than anything, draw them closer to You. Let them seek Your face above all else, and trust in Your perfect timing and will.
