Muslim vs Christian?

Beloved of All
How do we know what’s the truth? And for Muslims why would they ignore the scriptures that Jesus says He is the way, truth, and Life? What makes a person believe in Allah? And what if Christians are wrong? God bless.

We hear your deep longing to know the truth, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and clarity. The question of truth is not merely academic—it is eternal, and the stakes could not be higher. Let us turn to Scripture, for it is the unchanging Word of God, and it alone holds the answers we seek.

First, we must address the exclusivity of Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* This is not a claim that can be dismissed or watered down. It is a bold, uncompromising truth that sets Christianity apart from every other belief system. The apostle Peter echoed this in Acts 4:12, saying, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."* The name of Jesus is not just another path—it is the only path.

Now, why would someone ignore or reject these clear Scriptures? The Bible tells us that the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ should shine on them (2 Corinthians 4:4). This spiritual blindness is not merely intellectual—it is a willful suppression of the truth. Romans 1:18-20 explains that God’s invisible attributes are clearly seen in creation, so men are without excuse. Yet, they *"suppress the truth in unrighteousness."* This is not an accident; it is a choice to turn away from the light.

As for Islam, it is a system that denies the deity of Christ, His sacrificial death, and His resurrection—all of which are foundational to the Christian faith. The Quran explicitly rejects the crucifixion (Surah 4:157), yet the Bible declares that *"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures"* (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Without the cross and resurrection, there is no forgiveness of sins, no victory over death, and no hope of eternal life. Islam offers a works-based salvation, but Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."* The two systems are fundamentally incompatible.

What makes a person believe in Allah? Often, it is a combination of cultural upbringing, personal preference, and spiritual deception. Some are drawn to Islam because it provides a sense of structure, discipline, and identity. Others are deceived by the lie that all religions lead to the same God. But Jesus warned in Matthew 7:13-14, *"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."* The path to Allah is wide and well-traveled, but it leads to destruction. The path to Jesus is narrow, but it leads to life.

What if Christians are wrong? This is a common objection, but it is based on a false premise. If Christianity is true—and we believe with all our hearts that it is—then those who reject Christ are the ones who are wrong. But if Christianity were false, then we would have lived a life of love, sacrifice, and moral integrity, which is far better than a life of hatred, oppression, or moral relativism. However, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the historical event that validates our faith. If Christ did not rise from the dead, then our faith is futile (1 Corinthians 15:14). But the evidence for the resurrection is overwhelming—eyewitness accounts, the empty tomb, the transformed lives of the disciples, and the rapid spread of Christianity in the face of persecution. The resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith, and it is what sets Christianity apart from every other religion.

Let us pray together now, seeking God’s truth and His light to shine in the darkness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts hungry for truth. You have said in Your Word that the truth will set us free (John 8:32), and we long for that freedom. Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of those who are spiritually blind, that they may see the glory of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for our Muslim friends, neighbors, and family members, that You would remove the veil from their hearts and reveal to them the truth of the gospel. Father, we know that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), so we ask that You would draw them to Yourself.

Lord, we also pray for those who are struggling with doubt. Strengthen their faith, and help them to stand firm on the unshakable foundation of Your Word. Remind them that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts against the lies of the enemy and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13).

We rebuke the spirit of deception that blinds people to the truth of the gospel. We declare that the light of Christ will shine in the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it (John 1:5). We pray that many would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and that they would experience the joy and peace that comes from a relationship with Him.

Father, we also pray for ourselves, that we would be bold and courageous in sharing the truth of the gospel with others. Help us to love people as You love them, and to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Give us opportunities to share Your Word, and give us the words to say when those opportunities arise.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to search the Scriptures for yourself. Do not take our word for it—read the Bible, pray, and ask God to reveal Himself to you. Jesus said, *"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you"* (Matthew 7:7). He is faithful to answer those who seek Him with a sincere heart.

If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."* This is the most important decision you will ever make, and it is the only way to eternal life.

May God bless you as you seek Him, and may His truth set you free.

We've been reflecting on your questions and we're here to walk this journey with you. The heart of your inquiry is profound - it's about truth, belief, and salvation. Let's approach this together, seeking understanding and wisdom from God's Word.

Firstly, we believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. This isn't a claim we take lightly, but one that's deeply rooted in the Bible. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). This exclusivity can be hard to grasp, but it's a fundamental truth of our faith. It's not about superiority, but about the unique path to salvation that God has provided through Jesus.

Now, why might someone ignore or reject these Scriptures? We believe it's often due to spiritual blindness. The Apostle Paul writes about this in 2 Corinthians 4:4, saying that the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. This isn't a physical blindness, but a spiritual one - a willful suppression of the truth (Romans 1:18-20).

Islam, as a system, denies the deity of Christ, His sacrificial death, and His resurrection - all foundational to our faith. The Quran explicitly rejects the crucifixion, yet the Bible clearly states that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Without the cross and resurrection, there's no forgiveness of sins, no victory over death, and no hope of eternal life. Islam offers a works-based salvation, but the Bible tells us that it's by grace we have been saved, through faith - not of our own doing (Ephesians 2:8-9).

So, what makes a person believe in Allah? Often, it's a combination of cultural upbringing, personal preference, and spiritual deception. Some are drawn to Islam for its structure and discipline, others are deceived by the lie that all religions lead to the same God. But Jesus warned about this in Matthew 7:13-14, saying that the path to destruction is wide and well-traveled, but the path to life is narrow and difficult.

What if Christians are wrong? This is a valid question, but it's based on a false premise. If Christianity is true, then those who reject Christ are the ones who are wrong. But if Christianity is false, we've still lived a life of love, sacrifice, and moral integrity, which is far better than a life of hatred, oppression, or moral relativism. The resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith. If He didn't rise from the dead, our faith is futile. But the evidence for the resurrection is overwhelming - eyewitness accounts, the empty tomb, transformed lives, and the rapid spread of Christianity despite persecution.

There are many Muslims who are converted to Christianity but some Muslims believed they cannot ask questions against their own theology as it is considered sin.
I'm sharing a video from one of the most famous person who can explain why Muslims don't believe in Christ. This person has been converted from Muslim to Christianity.
