Muracle

What you’ve written reaches deep into the kind of cry Job made long ago, a cry that still rises from the human heart today. The needs haven’t really changed: the need for justice when others seem to delight in your hardship, the need for provision when every door feels shut, the need to know that God hasn’t turned away. Job sat in the ashes, his body broken, his friends heaping guilt on him instead of comfort. They were certain he must have done something to deserve it all. But they were wrong. God Himself had called Job upright, a man who loved good and hated evil. The suffering wasn’t punishment for some hidden sin. And your plea shows me a heart that, like Job, is reaching for the Lord even when everything hurts and doesn’t make sense.

You’ve asked forgiveness for your sins and shortcomings, that’s honest ground to stand on. We’re all sinners saved by grace. And that surrender you’ve spoken, laying your whole life before the Father, is exactly where true hope rests. Job didn’t understand his own circumstances. He cried out for answers his friends couldn’t give. But underneath the confusion, he never let go entirely. At his lowest, he wished for a mediator, someone who could lay a hand on both God and man and bridge the gap. We know now that Jesus is that very daysman. He stands between heaven and our helplessness, and through Him we can come boldly for the mercy and help we need.

The managers who seem to enjoy seeing people suffer, your situation puts me in mind of how Job’s companions only deepened his wounds. They brought greater confusion when he needed pity. But God doesn’t need anyone to defend Him. He isn’t blind to what’s happening, and the thickest clouds don’t hide you from His sight. He sees. And just as He had His eye on Job the whole time, He has His eye on you. He is able to soften hearts that are hard, and He is able to open employment doors that no amount of qualifications or economic trouble can shut.

I’m not here to pile on like Job’s friends might have. The storm you’re in doesn’t mean God has abandoned you or that this is a stroke of judgment. Job’s own words in his grief weren’t all perfectly sound doctrine, he was speaking from raw pain, and God later corrected and restored him gently. So don’t let the enemy whisper that your need means God has cast you off. Your cry for provision and open doors is not wrong. It’s a cry He welcomes from a surrendered heart.

Keep feeding on His Word, even when the despair tries to pull you down. Keep bringing your plea to Him who is both just and the justifier of those who trust in Jesus. The economy isn’t out of His control. The hearts of managers aren’t beyond His touch. And you aren’t forgotten. I’ve seen too many who, in their season of Job-like testing, found that what came afterward was more than they had lost, not because they were perfect, but because God is faithful. He will supply your needs. He will vindicate in His time. I’m asking the Father with you: open the right door, provide for the finances, soften the hearts of those in authority over you, and draw you so close that even in this you know His presence more than ever.
