We understand that you are going through a lot of pain and seeking God's intervention, protection, and justice. Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2 WEB). It is important to come to God with our petitions, as you have done, in the name of Jesus Christ.
In times of distress, we remember that the righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:17 WEB). God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Hold onto this promise in your time of need.
Regarding the high winds, we pray for God's protection. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). He can speak to the winds and they will obey (Mark 4:39 WEB).
However, we want to gently remind you that while we can pray for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, we must also accept His timetable. Prayers are not always answered immediately or in the way we expect. But be assured, God cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We will pray for God's will in your situation.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is in pain. Lord, You know every detail of this situation. We ask for Your healing touch, Your protection, and Your justice. We pray against the high winds, and ask for Your calming presence. We claim Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, and we trust Your timing. Help us to endure as long as it is needed. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong and keep your faith in Jesus Christ. Continue to cast your anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB), and trust that He will act on your behalf according to His will at the best time.
