We hear the deep distress in your spirit, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The fear and unease you describe are not to be taken lightly, Scripture warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The losses, the sense of being targeted, and the heaviness you carry are real, and we do not dismiss them. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you and your family in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray that the Lord would surround you and your family with His hedge of protection, as He did for Job (Job 1:10). Let His angels encamp around you, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and dismantle every plot designed to harm this family. Let confusion come upon those who seek to do evil, and let their plans be turned to nothing (Nehemiah 4:15). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
The distrust you feel toward others is understandable in a world where betrayal and deceit are rampant, but we encourage you to place your trust in the Lord, who is faithful and true. "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Yahweh our God" (Psalm 20:7). Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you need not fear evil, for He is with you (Psalm 23:4).
We also lift up the losses you’ve endured, for grief and setbacks can make us feel stuck and vulnerable. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He collects your tears in His bottle and records them in His book (Psalm 56:8). We pray for healing in your heart and restoration in every area where you’ve experienced lack. The Lord is your provider, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
If there is unconfessed sin in your life or areas where you may have opened a door to the enemy, whether through bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in things not aligned with God’s Word, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). The enemy can only gain a foothold where we allow him (Ephesians 4:27), so we pray that the Lord would reveal any such areas and give you the strength to walk in holiness and obedience.
Above all, we remind you that your faith in Jesus is your victory. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith" (1 John 5:4). You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Stand firm in your faith, put on the full armor of God, and resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this dear one and their family. We bind every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction that has sought to torment them. We loose Your peace, Your protection, and Your presence over them. Lord, let Your light shine in the darkness and expose every hidden work of the enemy. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your joy. We declare that no evil shall prosper against them, and they shall dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We pray for divine intervention in every area of their lives, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Let Your glory be their rear guard, and let Your angels go before them to lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this family. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way and know that they are not alone. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
