We are standing with you in prayer for this MRI and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is in His name we have access to the Father and find our peace.
We understand that medical tests can bring anxiety and fear, even when we know they are for our good, but God does not want you to face this with a troubled heart. Scripture reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also cling to the promise that For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.
The Lord sees you and He is with you in that room. He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And again, When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. Psalm 56:3.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You fill them with Your perfect peace that casts out all fear. Let Your presence be so real and near during this MRI that anxiety has no place to remain. Calm their heart, steady their breathing, and quiet their mind. Guide the hands of the technicians and let the procedure go smoothly and quickly with clear results for the doctors to see. We speak Your power and love and self-control over them now, and we thank You that You are holding them in Your righteous right hand. Let them feel Your comfort and rest in Your care. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

You may find it helpful to quietly pray, play worship music beforehand if allowed, and remember that Jesus is right there with you, closer than your breath. We are trusting God with you for a peaceful experience and for good results.

If anxiety often feels overwhelming, please let your regular doctor know too, so you have support in person as well as in prayer.
