Prayer for my father

Praise God. Recently i sent a prayer request for my father regarding his swollen right leg. His was admitted in the hospital. All necessary tests were taken to rule out but still the doctors couldn't find the root cause.But all resutls came negative. Today my father has to do a MRI to see in detail. It is taking place now. Please pray for him that everything will be negative and no side effects from the MRI. Jesus bless you. Sincerely, ###.

We praise God with you for His mercy and we join you in praying for your father as he undergoes this MRI. We thank the Lord that the previous tests have come back negative and we continue to trust Him as the Great Physician who sees what doctors cannot see and who heals according to His perfect will.

We are encouraged that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. As it is written, there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We come boldly before the throne of grace together in Jesus name.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God who heals. He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. And He promises But I will restore you to health, and heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise to be with us in times of fear and uncertainty, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for your father now. Father in heaven we lift up this dear father to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your hand of healing upon his swollen right leg. We pray that You would guide the doctors and technicians performing the MRI, grant them wisdom and clarity, and that the scan would be completed safely with no side effects or complications. We pray that the results would bring clear answers, and if it is Your will, that all serious causes would be ruled out and the root cause would be revealed so proper treatment can be given. We ask for Your peace to guard his heart and the hearts of his family, as You have promised In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Strengthen him, comfort him, and let him feel Your presence in the hospital room. We pray for complete restoration and for Your will to be done in his body for Your glory.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while you wait, giving thanks for His care even before you see the full answer. Keep praying and keep seeking Him, and keep us updated so we can continue to stand with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and your father and grant you His peace that passes all understanding as you rest in Jesus.

We have heard your burden for your ### and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace even now while the MRI is taking place.

We thank God that the tests thus far have shown nothing alarming, and we pray that the Lord in His mercy will give wisdom to the physicians and grant a favorable report from this present examination, with no harmful effects following it. We ask the Father to lay His healing hand upon your father's leg, to reduce the swelling and to reveal and remove the cause according to His perfect will.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for this trial. You have a Father in Heaven, and to be full of fear when you have such a Father dishonors His name. Cast your care upon Him, for the Father Himself loves you, and He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, viewed aright not as an object of dread but of gratitude and trust. Say with the Savior, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight, and rest in His fatherly care.

Remember that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Though the body is sick, the soul may look to Him who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. As it is written, the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for when iniquity is forgiven healing comes from the pardoning hand. Put forth your hand by faith and touch the hem of His garment.

So we pray: O blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, look in compassion upon this father now lying under examination. Thou knowest his frame and his need. Grant skill to those who care for him, keep him from harm, and if it be Thy will, restore him to health. Above all, let him and his family know the comfort of Thy love in Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and find peace in trusting Thee as children trust a faithful Father. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and healer. Amen.

I have received your request and I am joining you in prayer for your father before our heavenly Father.

I thank God for your faith in bringing this need to Him, and I ask the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whose Spirit we cry Abba Father, to have mercy on your father in this time of uncertainty and concern. I pray that the MRI now being done will show no serious or hidden cause for the swelling, that the results will be clear and bring peace to you and your family, and that he will have no side effects or complications from the procedure.

I also pray for his complete healing, for wisdom and care for the doctors and all who are treating him, and for strength and peace for you and your loved ones as you wait. May the Lord comfort you, guard your hearts with His peace, and remind you that He hears the prayers of His children and is near to those who call upon Him in truth.

I will continue to remember your father in prayer. May God in His mercy grant him recovery and restore him to health according to His good will.

Thank you for sharing this burden about your father and for allowing us to pray with you. We are lifting him up before the Father right now as he goes through this MRI, and we are asking God to give you and your family His peace while you wait.

One of the great comforts Jesus gives us is that when we see Him we see the Father. All of the compassion He showed, all of the healing and restoring of sick bodies and broken lives, was not separate from the Father but was the Father at work through Him. Jesus said the words He spoke and the works He did were from the Father who lives in Him, and that He and the Father are one. That means the love and mercy you see in Jesus is exactly the heart of the Father toward you and toward your father.

Because of Jesus we have direct access to the Father. We do not need to come through any other mediator. Jesus taught that we are to ask the Father in His name, and He assured us that the Father Himself loves you because you have loved Jesus and believed that He came from God. Prayer in Jesus name is not a formula but an opening of the door for the Father to do what He already desires to do for His children, to bless and to keep and to show mercy. We also remember that Jesus always sought not His own will but the will of the Father, and we want to pray in that same spirit of trust.

So we pray together to our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ His Son. Holy Father, we ask You to keep this dear father through Your name and to watch over him in this hospital. We ask that You would guide the doctors and give them wisdom to understand the cause of the swelling in his right leg. We ask for Your hand of protection over the MRI, that it would be completed without any harm or side effects, and that the images would give clear and helpful information. We ask for Your healing touch upon his leg and his whole body, according to Your perfect will and love. Above all, let Your will be done, and let Your grace, mercy and peace rest upon him and upon his family. Fill their hearts with assurance that they are held in fellowship with You through Your Son, and that Your love for them is steadfast.

We will continue to pray that the Lord gives you strength each day and that you see His care in the details. Trust that the Father who knows and loves you is near, and that He hears when you call on Him through Jesus.
