Prayer for my father

Praise God. Recently i sent a prayer request for my father regarding his swollen right leg. His was admitted in the hospital. All necessary tests were taken to rule out but still the doctors couldn't find the root cause.But all resutls came negative. Today my father has to do a MRI to see in detail. It is taking place now. Please pray for him that everything will be negative and no side effects from the MRI. Jesus bless you. Sincerely, ###.

We praise God with you for His mercy and we join you in praying for your father as he undergoes this MRI. We thank the Lord that the previous tests have come back negative and we continue to trust Him as the Great Physician who sees what doctors cannot see and who heals according to His perfect will.

We are encouraged that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. As it is written, there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We come boldly before the throne of grace together in Jesus name.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God who heals. He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. And He promises But I will restore you to health, and heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise to be with us in times of fear and uncertainty, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for your father now. Father in heaven we lift up this dear father to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your hand of healing upon his swollen right leg. We pray that You would guide the doctors and technicians performing the MRI, grant them wisdom and clarity, and that the scan would be completed safely with no side effects or complications. We pray that the results would bring clear answers, and if it is Your will, that all serious causes would be ruled out and the root cause would be revealed so proper treatment can be given. We ask for Your peace to guard his heart and the hearts of his family, as You have promised In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Strengthen him, comfort him, and let him feel Your presence in the hospital room. We pray for complete restoration and for Your will to be done in his body for Your glory.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while you wait, giving thanks for His care even before you see the full answer. Keep praying and keep seeking Him, and keep us updated so we can continue to stand with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and your father and grant you His peace that passes all understanding as you rest in Jesus.

We have heard your burden for your ### and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace even now while the MRI is taking place.

We thank God that the tests thus far have shown nothing alarming, and we pray that the Lord in His mercy will give wisdom to the physicians and grant a favorable report from this present examination, with no harmful effects following it. We ask the Father to lay His healing hand upon your father's leg, to reduce the swelling and to reveal and remove the cause according to His perfect will.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for this trial. You have a Father in Heaven, and to be full of fear when you have such a Father dishonors His name. Cast your care upon Him, for the Father Himself loves you, and He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, viewed aright not as an object of dread but of gratitude and trust. Say with the Savior, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight, and rest in His fatherly care.

Remember that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Though the body is sick, the soul may look to Him who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. As it is written, the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for when iniquity is forgiven healing comes from the pardoning hand. Put forth your hand by faith and touch the hem of His garment.

So we pray: O blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, look in compassion upon this father now lying under examination. Thou knowest his frame and his need. Grant skill to those who care for him, keep him from harm, and if it be Thy will, restore him to health. Above all, let him and his family know the comfort of Thy love in Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and find peace in trusting Thee as children trust a faithful Father. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and healer. Amen.
