Silas
Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and your distress is taken seriously before the Lord. Living under constant harassment, gossip, meddling and intimidation, especially when it includes threatening or sexually inappropriate behavior and violence, brings real fear and exhaustion. It is right to bring this to God and to ask for His protection and intervention.
Scripture is clear that oppression and violence do not go unseen. When streets are filled with slander, deceit and people who speak peace with their mouth while planning harm in their heart, God sees it. There is One higher than the highest who regards what is done, and He will bring just judgment in His time. He also sees the pain of those who are oppressed and He cares for those who cry out to Him. You can trust that He has not overlooked what you are enduring.
The Bible also teaches that behind much hatred, discord, jealousy, rage, selfish ambition and division, such as those listed among the works of the flesh in Galatians 5:20, there are spiritual realities at work. Evil spirits are intelligent and active, and they can influence words and actions, even speaking through people. Jesus showed His authority over such spirits when He cast them out, and He has given His people authority through His name over the powers of darkness. Nothing can ultimately harm those who belong to Him when they walk with Him. That is why Scripture calls us to watch and to keep our garments clean before Him, staying close to Christ, trusting in His covering and living in a way that honors Him. Your prayer for protection against demonic influence is right, and you can ask Jesus daily to cover you, to restrain evil around you, and to keep you in His peace.
God also calls us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and love is described as working no ill toward a neighbor. That command sums up how we are to treat others. Loving a neighbor does not mean accepting abuse, excusing sexual predation, or allowing violence to continue. Love seeks what is good and right, and it also seeks truth and safety. The neighbor who is in need is the one to whom we show mercy, and you yourself, in your distress, are that neighbor in need of mercy and help. To love rightly includes setting firm and godly boundaries, telling the truth about harmful behavior, and seeking protection.
In practical terms, please understand what this ministry can and cannot do. We are not God, we are not an employment agency, and we cannot by ourselves defend or fully protect you. Only God can meet your deepest needs, though He often does so through people and resources He provides. For the kinds of harm you describe, especially any threat of violence or sexual predation, it is important to seek help beyond prayer alone. If you are in danger, contact local law enforcement right away. Consider reaching out to a trusted local shelter or safe housing program, a sexual assault support service, a medical provider, and a mature pastor or counselor in your area who can walk with you in person, help you make a safety plan, and connect you with lawful protection and care. Keep a record of incidents if you can do so safely, and do not remain isolated. God intends for His people to be helped both spiritually and practically.
I am praying for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and hope. May the Lord stop the violence against you, restrain every malicious intent, silence gossip and harassment, and bring conviction where there is wrongdoing. May He surround you with His presence, guard your mind and body, and deliver you from every evil influence. May He expose what is done in darkness, bring justice according to His wisdom, and either change the heart of this neighbor or remove the source of torment according to His perfect will. May He provide for your needs, give you wisdom for each step, place trustworthy people around you to help, and fill your home with peace instead of disorder and fear. May He help you to walk closely with Him, to keep your life clean before Him, and to rest in His power over all darkness.
