Please pray that this troublesome neighbor moves away—someone full of gossip, meddling, and disorder, harboring malicious intent to torment and inflict ruin, misery, harassment, and inappropriate sexual behavior ("sexual predation"). Please provide them with a list of resources regarding sexual predation and shelters—reminding them that "we are not God," "we are not an employment agency," and "we cannot defend or protect them," for only God meets their needs. In the name of Jesus Christ, please pray that this neighbor—this living hell—moves out soon. Please put a stop to the violence in my life; Almighty God, help me and protect me against demons. We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God, who alone is our refuge and strength. The torment you describe, gossip, meddling, disorder, and especially the mention of sexual predation, is not only sinful but deeply grievous to the Lord. The works of the flesh you referenced in Galatians 5:20 are indeed destructive, and we rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ. "Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom" (Galatians 5:19-21 WEB).

First, we must address the seriousness of sexual predation. This is not only a sin but a crime, and it must be reported to the proper authorities. We encourage you to contact local law enforcement and organizations that specialize in protecting victims of such behavior. Here are some resources that may help:

We also rebuke the spirit of fear and torment that seeks to overwhelm you. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). You are not alone, and you do not have to face this in your own strength. The Lord is your protector, and He commands His angels concerning you (Psalm 91:11 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, You see the torment, the harassment, and the evil that has been unleashed in this neighborhood. We ask that You intervene in a mighty way. Father, we pray for this troublesome neighbor, we ask that You either change their heart or remove them from this place. Soften their heart to repentance, Lord, or in Your perfect justice, cause them to move far from here. We rebuke the spirits of gossip, meddling, hatred, and sexual immorality in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your peace reign in this home and this neighborhood.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over this dear one who has cried out to You. Surround them with Your angels, shield them from harm, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Deliver them from the schemes of the enemy and grant them wisdom to navigate this situation with discernment and courage. Father, we declare that no demon, no spirit of fear, and no plan of the enemy will prevail against them because You are their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10 WEB).

We also pray for justice, Lord. Expose any hidden works of darkness and bring them into the light. Let the truth be revealed, and let those who practice such things face the consequences of their actions. But above all, Lord, we pray for redemption, for this neighbor to come to know You, to repent, and to turn from their wicked ways. You are a God of mercy, and we ask that You extend grace even in this situation.

Father, we thank You that You are our defender and our protector. We trust in You alone, for there is no other name by which we can be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 WEB). We ask all these things in His precious and holy name, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your refuge. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, for "the name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). If you have not already, consider reaching out to a local church or a trusted Christian community for support and prayer. You do not have to walk through this alone.

Finally, we remind you that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19 WEB). While it is right to seek justice through the proper channels, we must guard our hearts against bitterness and unforgiveness. Pray for this neighbor, even as you seek deliverance from their actions. Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This is not easy, but with God, all things are possible.

May the Lord bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB). Stand firm, dear one, for the battle is the Lord’s.

We hear how exhausting and frightening this has been. Living near someone who harasses, spreads rumors, and makes you feel unsafe is a heavy burden, and you are not wrong to want the harassment to stop. Please take the practical step of reporting any sexual harassment, stalking, or threats to your local police. If you are not sure who to call, a local church office or a domestic violence advocate can help you find the right people. We cannot personally hand a resource list to your neighbor or stand between you, but God is not distant from your fear.

We are praying that God surrounds your home with his protection, that every harmful scheme loses its power, and that he opens a clear door for you to live in quiet safety. We are asking him to restrain the neighbor's speech and behavior, to bring consequences where they are needed, and to give you steady wisdom about when to involve authorities and when to stay still. We are also praying that you feel the nearness of Christ in the middle of the chaos, because he is with you.

Lord Jesus, you see what this person is enduring. Guard their home and heart. Stop the harassment and every evil intent. Make a way for them to live in peace. Give wisdom to those who can help, and bring your justice in your time. Amen.

Your trial is heavy, and I have brought it before the throne of grace. You have named sins that are not to be excused: gossip, meddling, disorder, malice, and sexual predation. If these things are true, they are works of the flesh, and God will judge them. Yet I will not pray for your neighbor’s ruin; I will pray that the Lord would break their wickedness and bring them to repentance, because only the blood of Jesus can cleanse the foulest heart. At the same time I will pray for your deliverance from the power of darkness, for He has delivered us from that power in Christ, and no demon can pluck you from His hand.

You ask that this neighbor move away. I will pray, Lord, if it be Thy will, remove this torment from Thy servant; if not, make a way of escape and keep him in perfect peace. But if there is violence or sexual predation, do not remain in danger while only praying. Flee, seek lawful shelter, and tell the magistrate, for the civil power is God’s minister for the punishment of evildoers. You may give a list of shelters and resources, because love to neighbor does good to enemies where there is opportunity. But you are right to remember that you are not God, not an employment agency, and you cannot defend or protect them ultimately. Only God fills the deepest needs, and you must not try to be their savior.

Watch your own spirit, for Galatians 5:20 names hatred, discord, fits of rage, and dissensions. Those same works may creep into the injured as well as the injurer. Vengeance belongs to God. Pray for your neighbor, not with bitterness, but that they may flee from the wrath to come and find mercy at the cross. For yourself, let your mind be stayed on Christ, and He will keep you in perfect peace. You shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

You have brought a heavy burden of fear and anger. I will pray, but not with the words you have written. To call a neighbor a living hell and ask God to drive him away out of hatred is not the prayer of a peacemaker. If there is real sexual predation or violence, that is a crime and a grave sin. Go to the civil authorities. Protect those in danger. The church may help you find shelter and report the evil, but we are not God, not an employment agency, not the police. Yet we cannot simply say we will not defend or protect; that would abandon the vulnerable. God uses lawful judgment and wise action to restrain the wicked.

I can pray this: Almighty God, restrain this neighbor's evil. Frustrate every malicious scheme and harassing act. Protect those under threat. If it is Your will for peace, remove the troubler or move them far away. But above all, break the power of sin in that house and in my heart. Guard me from hatred and from returning cursing for cursing. Help me to report real crimes, avoid idle gossip, and walk in peace without becoming like the one who harms.

And I must correct you. You asked for prayer against demons while you were filling your mouth with a list of your neighbor's sins. One of my own words against gossip applies to you: if you do not believe the report, why pass it on? If you believe it, take it to the proper judge, not to every ear. Do not let your prayer become a curse. For he who plots against his neighbor first destroys himself. If we want God to have mercy on us, we must show mercy. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. So I will not ask God to bless hatred or to curse the neighbor. I will ask Him to deliver you from evil, to change the heart of the wrongdoer, and to give you the peace that overcomes evil without becoming evil. If the danger is present, act now to get to safety and report the crime. May God crush Satan under your feet soon and give you a spirit of peace, not vengeance.
