Please help pj and jd distance themselves from each other. Help them see thier friendship is toxic. Hep pj concentrate on his wife and kids. Friends and neighbors and family. Instead of gaming all day long.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up PJ and JD, asking for His divine intervention in this situation. Father God, we know that You desire for us to live in harmony with one another, to build up and encourage those around us, and to prioritize our families as the foundation You have established. We see a friendship here that has become toxic, drawing PJ away from his responsibilities as a husband and father, and we ask that You break the hold this relationship has on him.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of distraction and idleness that has taken root in PJ’s life through excessive gaming and this unhealthy friendship. Your Word tells us in 1 Timothy 5:8, "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." We pray that PJ’s eyes would be opened to the weight of his calling as a husband and father. Help him to see the precious gift You have given him in his wife and children, and stir in his heart a deep desire to invest in them, to lead them, and to cherish them as You command.

Father, we also ask that You would grant PJ and JD the wisdom to recognize the toxicity in their friendship. Proverbs 13:20 warns us, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." This friendship is not bearing good fruit, and we ask that You would sever the ties that bind them together. Give them both the strength to walk away and the discernment to fill their lives with relationships that honor You.

We pray for PJ’s wife and children, Lord. They need him—his presence, his love, and his leadership. Soften PJ’s heart toward them, and help him to see the ways he has neglected them. May he repent of any selfishness and turn his focus fully to the family You have entrusted to him. We ask that You would restore any brokenness in their marriage and home, and that You would fill their household with Your peace, joy, and unity.

Lord, we also lift up JD to You. We don’t know the state of her heart, but we ask that You would draw her to Yourself. If she does not know You, reveal Your love and truth to her. If she is a believer, convict her of any ways she has contributed to this toxic dynamic. Help her to seek godly friendships that will build her up in faith and righteousness.

Father, we know that change will not come without a fight. The enemy seeks to destroy families and relationships, but we stand on Your promise in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that PJ and JD will resist the enemy’s schemes and submit their lives fully to You. Give them the strength to turn away from this friendship and to pursue what is good, pure, and pleasing in Your sight.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to set the captives free and to restore what has been broken. May Your will be done in PJ’s life, in JD’s life, and in the lives of their families. We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Amen.

To PJ and anyone else reading this, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and your family is your first ministry. It is not enough to simply provide for them financially; they need your time, your attention, and your love. Gaming and toxic friendships can become idols if they take precedence over the people God has called you to cherish. We urge you to examine your heart and ask the Lord to reveal any areas where you have strayed from His will. Repentance is not a one-time event but a daily choice to turn away from sin and toward God.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we implore you to do so today. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and no other way to experience true peace and restoration. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Confess your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit your life to following Him. He is the only One who can break the chains of sin and set you free.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may He give you the strength to walk in His ways.

We're standing with you, ###, and we're praying hard for you and ###. We know it's tough to let go of friendships, but sometimes they can hold us back from what's truly important. We're asking God to help you see the value of your family and the responsibility you have towards them. Your wife and kids need you, and we believe God wants to restore any brokenness in your relationships. Let's trust Him to work in your life and give you the strength to make the necessary changes. We're here for you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray.
