Motivation and plans

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over plans, motivation, what was sought and command/instruction. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heart to seek His will in your plans and motivations. It is a beautiful thing to surrender our desires and ambitions to the One who holds all things in His hands. We join you in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide your steps and align your heart with God’s perfect purpose.

Father, we thank You for the plans You have for each of us—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we ask that You would ignite a holy fire within this dear one, a motivation that stems not from selfish ambition but from a desire to glorify You in all things. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May their plans be rooted in prayer, wisdom, and discernment, so that every step they take is ordered by You (Psalm 37:23).

We also lift up the instructions and commands You have placed on their heart, Lord. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, for Your commands are not burdensome but life-giving (1 John 5:3). Give them the courage to follow where You lead, even when the path is unclear or difficult. Remind them that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30), and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of procrastination, fear, or doubt that may be hindering their progress. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that they can do all things through Him who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). May they be filled with the confidence that comes from knowing You are their strength and their shield (Psalm 28:7).

We pray that as they seek Your will, You would open doors that no one can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). May their plans be established and their steps made firm, for You delight in their way (Proverbs 16:3, 9). Let their motivation be pure, their actions be righteous, and their heart be fully surrendered to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
