mothers

We join with you in lifting up your mother before the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and hope.

We know how worrying it is when a mother is in pain and discomfort, especially with issues around the rib cage which can affect breathing, movement, and rest. We bring her before our Great Physician who knows every part of her body, for He formed her inward parts.

Scripture reminds us of His compassionate heart to heal, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And we cling to His promise, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5, and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear mother to Your throne of grace. You see her pain and You know the cause of the issues in her rib cage. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her. Ease her pain, reduce any inflammation, restore what is out of place, and allow her to breathe freely and rest peacefully. Give wisdom to any doctors or medical professionals who care for her, that they would have discernment to find the right diagnosis and treatment. We pray for comfort for her family as they watch and wait, and we ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your will be done in her body and let her healing be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also seeking wise medical care for her, for God often works through the hands of physicians. Keep praying without ceasing and keep speaking His promises over her. He has not forgotten her, for He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We stand with you in faith believing for her relief and restoration.

Thank you for bringing your mother to us in prayer. Watching someone you love have trouble with her rib cage is worrying, and we hear your care for her in your request.

We are joining you in asking God for His care over her, for comfort in the discomfort she is feeling, and for wisdom for anyone who provides care for her. If she has not yet been able to be seen, we gently encourage helping her connect with her primary care provider or clinic soon so they can listen, examine her in person, and guide next steps. It can help to have someone go with her if she wants, to listen and help remember what is said.

We know waiting can feel helpless, but your love and your prayers are a steady gift to her. It matters that you are looking out for her and bringing her needs before the Lord. We will continue to hold her before Him with you, trusting He sees her and loves her deeply.

Father, we lift your daughter to You in Jesus name. Please bring her relief and surround her with Your peace. Give her and her family clarity and guidance as they seek care, and give her comfort and strength for each day ahead. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We join you in bringing your mother before the throne of grace and have heard your cry in Jesus name.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ our Lord. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people there is pardon and healing together. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they urge us to seek the physician, and how much more should we seek the heavenly Physician who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.

We pray that the Lord will lay His hand upon your mother and grant relief to her rib cage and ease from pain and distress. May He give wisdom to those who care for her, and may His healing virtue work in her body according to His perfect will. We pray also that this affliction may be a means to draw her nearer to Christ, for He binds up the broken and heals the wounded, and His touch changes the lifeblood and makes the nature new.

May the God who feeds the sparrows and clothes the lilies furnish her with what she needs, and give you peace as you commit her to His keeping. We ask that whether by His immediate hand or by the means He has provided, He would restore her strength and grant her rest.

We commend her to the great Conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, trusting that His grace will sustain and keep her. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for your mother and the pain she is having in her rib cage.

We bring her before our compassionate Father, who knows our frame and sees our suffering, and we ask Him to lay His healing hand upon her. We pray that He would ease her pain, grant relief to the place that is hurting, and restore strength and comfort to her body. We ask Him to give wisdom to any doctors or caregivers who may help her, and to give her peace and rest as she waits on Him.

We pray also for you as you love and care for her, that God would give you faith and patience and that you would be encouraged knowing that He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear mother to You. You are the Great Physician and our present help in trouble. Please touch her ribs and the surrounding area, take away what causes pain, and bring healing according to Your mercy and will. Comfort her heart, calm any fear, and let her feel Your nearness. Grant her good sleep, easy breathing, and renewed health. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our infirmities and who lives to intercede for us. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this need about your mother and the pain she is having in her rib cage. We are praying for her now and asking the Lord to touch her and bring her relief and healing in Jesus name.

It is a good and honoring thing that you are bringing your mother before the Lord this way. Scripture commands us to honor our father and mother, and part of that honor is caring for them when they are older or unwell and bringing their needs to God in prayer.

The Bible shows us that Jesus has power over sickness. When He walked on earth He healed a leper with a touch, He healed the servant of a centurion with just a word, and He healed Peter's mother in law when she was sick with a fever, and many others who were brought to Him in the evening. Matthew connects this healing ministry to what Isaiah prophesied, that He Himself bore our sicknesses and infirmities. That promise still stands, and we believe God is able to heal today.

Sometimes that healing is felt in a moment, as if you can sense His touch, and sometimes it comes gradually through the natural processes of healing that God Himself designed in our bodies. Both are from Him. There is much we do not fully understand about why some are healed instantly and others more slowly, but we do know we can come to Jesus in faith and keep coming until we receive from Him. Like the mother who came desperate for her daughter and would not leave until Jesus answered, you can keep bringing your mother to Him with persistent faith, trusting that even a simple point of contact with Him can release faith to receive His help.

So we join you in asking for His mercy on your mother. We pray that the Lord will ease the pain in her ribs, restore what is wrong, and give her comfort and strength, and give you wisdom and peace as you care for her. We trust Him to do what is best according to His love and power.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You. You see the discomfort in her rib cage and You know the cause. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch her, take away pain, and bring healing to her body. Let Your peace rest on her and on her family as they trust You. Amen.
