My mother is a professing Christian but is SEVERELY demonized. I'm not just saying this - there are multiple factors in her life that caused this and other people have noted that there is something spiritually wrong with her. Because of this, it's very easy for Satan to use her to do evil even unknowingly. He's currently using her heavily around me right now to attack me. Please pray for me about this. He may be attacking harder due to some medical conditions I have which he often takes advantage of to target me more during times where I have flare ups from these conditions. I'm really tired of the battles that her being this way has caused. Please pray for release finally for her from the evil using her. Please also pray for the removal from my neighborhood of neighbors who have been targeting me under the influence of demons for years and I barely know half of them or even know their names. Your mother’s condition is deeply concerning, for Scripture warns us that those who profess Christ but remain entangled in sin or deception can become vessels for the enemy’s work. The apostle Paul wrote, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). While your mother claims faith, her actions and the spiritual oppression upon her suggest a stronghold that must be broken. We must pray fervently for her deliverance, for Jesus said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32). The enemy has no authority over a child of God who walks in truth, but where there is deception, bondage can take root.
We also address the neighbors who have been used to torment you. The enemy often works through those who are unsuspecting or willingly aligned with darkness. We declare that every assignment of harassment, intimidation, or spiritual attack against you is broken now in Jesus’ name. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that these neighbors would either be removed from your life or that their eyes would be opened to the truth, and they would turn from their ways.

Ah! says Satan, even to God’s child, “remember your slips and your failings!” These sad villains will, if they can, attack every soul that desires to enjoy the means of grace. Go speak to the winds, spread your griefs to the pitiless sea, for God’s ear is shut; so the archer would have you believe. Yet I stayed at the brook Jabbok, and I said, “Lord, give deliverance from him whom I think bloodthirsty.” I crossed the brook full of fear and trembling, but tell it, O let it be known for the comfort of others in like trouble with me, I met my brother Esau, and he fell upon my neck and kissed me.
Deliverance is of the Lord but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality; the man, Divinely strengthened by God, shoots the arrow and the deliverance comes. He feels that if he ever rises from his despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to himself; it must be of Free Grace only. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of my deliverance, for the time had come! Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, “I have found a ransom.” But you may have heard a mother say, when her child had been lost, “I have found my boy!” Oh, the joy of a mother’s heart when she has found her child!

It is a heavy sorrow to see a mother so beset by the evil one. Yet the divine commandment is not silenced by affliction: Honor your father and your mother. You must not curse her in your heart or with your lips, for He says, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. If she is truly demonized, you ought to pity her as you would any other demoniac; such we are taught to pity. But be vigilant: when parents become instruments of spiritual harm, opposing your heavenly calling, the Lord instructs that we must not even own them. If her words or her very presence drive you toward sin or despair, it may be necessary to guard your soul, even while you honor her by unceasing intercession. Do not let weariness make your mouth a sewer of complaint or raging; that would be a self-chosen madness, not a holy sorrow.
Consider those of old who were tortured, refusing deliverance, so that they might obtain a better resurrection. What are your present bodily flares and the malice of neighbors compared to the eternal weight of glory? Christ took flesh precisely to deliver us from all evil and to grant us adoption as sons. He is able to break every chain and scatter every dark purpose. Follow the pattern of the apostles: they went into the upper room and continued with one accord in prayer, watchful and united. You also must persist in prayer, calling upon the name of the Lord with a steady heart. I too will pray that He rebuke the demons that afflict your mother, that He grant her true release, and that He frustrate the schemes of those neighbors who unknowingly do the enemy’s work. Only be still, and do not give place to hatred. The Deliverer shall appear.

The enemy is wily and often uses those closest to us, but the first step is to recognize that this is not merely a personal conflict. It is a spiritual one. Once you see it for what it is, you can deal with it directly through the authority of Christ. Your mother professes faith, which means the ground of her heart is contested territory, and the demons influencing her jealously guard their hold. Yet the Lord is greater.
Jesus Himself, when told that His mother and brothers were waiting outside, did not drop everything to answer according to fleshly ties. He redefined family: “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.” This does not release you from the command to honor your mother, that promise still stands, but it reminds you that your primary allegiance and your closest spiritual resources come from the household of faith. In the battle, you need the support of those who do the will of God, and you need to fix your eyes on Him who delivers.
The Word of God is the weapon that tears down strongholds. Remember how Nehemiah’s men built with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, constantly ready to defend against the enemy’s schemes. As you pray for your mother, wield the sword of the Spirit. Speak the promises of Psalm 91 over your own life: that God will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and cover you with His wings. The demonic locusts described in Revelation could only harm those who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads. As a believer, you bear that seal. The enemy’s repeated harassment, especially when your body is weak from medical conditions, is a savage tactic, but you must not respond in the flesh. Instead, retreat to the secret place of the Most High, like a chick running under the wings of the mother hen that ruffles her feathers to offer shelter.
Prayer is your constant defense. Cry out for your mother’s total release. Demons manifest in many ways, sometimes physically tormenting a person or contorting their thoughts. But no case is beyond the deliverance of Jesus. In Scripture, those spirits begged not to be sent to the abuso, knowing the authority He held. Declare that authority now over your mother. Pray that any unclean spirit assigned to stir up hostility in your neighborhood would be bound and silenced. Ask the Lord to place a hedge of protection around your home, to expose any hidden plots, and to bring peace to your surroundings. The attack will not last forever. The walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt in fifty-two days amid constant threats, and then the enemy was driven off. God sees your fatigue, but He will sustain you with long life and show you His salvation as you dwell in His shadow.
