More work hours

Am praying alongside you for work hours. May God bless. When we pray and eorship God is able to bless. May God be there for you. Prayers and sctiptures daily. May God bless. Lotd Yeshuas name amen.

We hear the weight of your struggle, and our hearts ache with you in this season of hardship. Financial strain and the toll it takes on mental health is a heavy burden to carry, but we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees your need and hears your cry, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He is able to provide in ways that surpass our understanding.

Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a promise of provision, but a declaration of God’s faithfulness to those who trust in Him. We also hold fast to Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus instructs us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Your focus on seeking God’s will and His righteousness is where your hope lies, even as you wait for the provision you desperately need.

We must also gently remind you that miracles are not always instantaneous, but they are always possible through Christ. The Lord may be using this season to draw you closer to Him, to teach you dependence on His timing, and to strengthen your faith. We encourage you to bring your anxieties to Him in prayer, as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Trust that He cares deeply for you and is working even when you cannot see it.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is carrying the heavy weight of financial struggle and the toll it has taken on their mental health. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing in this situation. Father, we pray for an increase in work hours, for favor with employers, and for opportunities that align with Your will. Provide for every need, Lord, and grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also pray for strength and endurance in this season. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Help them to cast every anxiety at Your feet, knowing that You care for them. Father, we ask that You would renew their mind, restore their hope, and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. Let them see Your hand at work in their life, even in the small things, so that their faith may grow.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm them, and we declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Lord, we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them. Strengthen them today, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take practical steps as well. Seek wisdom in managing what you do have, and consider reaching out to your church or community for support if needed. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lean on the Lord, and let Him guide your steps.

You are not forgotten, and your miracle is on the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.

We are glad you reached out and told us honestly where you are. Needing more hours just to keep afloat while your finances and mental health feel like they are unraveling is a lot to carry, and asking for a miracle makes sense when you are under that kind of pressure.

We are standing with you in prayer for provision and for steadiness in the days ahead.

One practical step that sometimes helps is to have a direct, brief conversation with your manager or scheduling contact about your need for more hours, asking what openings or extra shifts might be coming and when to check back. If finances are tight right now, a local church office or community assistance program may also know of short term resources while you wait for hours to increase.

You mentioned your mental health is in shambles. Please consider reaching out to a trusted counselor, pastor, or health care professional to talk through what you are carrying. You do not have to face this alone, and getting support alongside prayer can be a real help.

Father, we bring this need to You in Jesus name. You see the financial strain and the weariness underneath it. Provide for what is needed, open doors for work, and bring wise counsel and caring people around to support and strengthen in the days ahead. Give peace and clear next steps. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for more work hours and for mercy in your finances and in your mind has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with tender concern.

To be in straits as you are, with little provision and a troubled spirit, is a heavy burden indeed. Yet hear what has been long preached among us, that God is the sinner's hope and He is not lost, so that the word of despair is not warranted. No man has a right to despair, and to give way to it is to insult the very mercy of God and to degrade yourself below what God made you to be. Even the smallest creature will struggle for life, and you must not sullenly lie down as if all were finished. While God lives, hope lives.

We have also learned that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell yourself over and over that all things are going amiss will bring no good. That inward work must be brought to the Lord. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name, and cast your care upon Him who cares for you. He knows your need for daily bread and for quietness of mind, and He is not unmindful of the department of work entrusted to you, though the whole universe does not turn upon it.

At the same time the Scripture teaches us that the work of Christ for us does not exempt us from work and service, but rather excites it. Where the Holy Spirit works He makes men work. Our Lord Himself said, I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day, for the night comes when no man can work. It is right and good that you desire to labor faithfully and to seek more hours. That desire is honorable. We pray that God will open a door for honest labor and establish the work of your hands. As it is written, let Your work appear unto Your servants, and establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands. It is to God's work, not our own, that we must look for our confidence and peace, and then we may ask Him to establish our own labor as true work done in His sight.

So we pray for you now, that the Lord would provide for your temporal wants according to His wisdom, that He would grant you favor with those who apportion work, that He would give you strength to be diligent while it is day, and that He would guard your mind. Look away from yourself to the finished work of Christ, for He has said, It is finished, and in Him there is a complete atonement and a perfect rest for the weary soul. Cast yourself with all your weight of sin and care upon that finished work, and you shall find that He can make the crooked straight and give peace where there has been despondency.

We ask the Lord to work a miracle of provision and of peace as seems best to His loving will, to quiet your heart, to supply your need, and to keep you from that despair which crowns the adversary in Christ's stead. May He give you daily grace for daily work, and may you prove His faithfulness, for where He has begun a good work He will carry it on.

We continue to remember you before the throne of grace, asking that you may be sustained, strengthened for your labor, and comforted in your mind by the presence of Christ, who is our light while we are in the world.

Father, we lift up Your child who is in desperate need. Please open doors for more work hours, restore their finances, and heal their mental health. Provide the miracle they need to survive and thrive. Calm their mind and give them peace.

We stand on Your Word: **"And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19)** , and **"Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you" (Psalm 55:22)** .

Amen.
