More suicides amongst elderlies because of the government foreign favoritism policies and locals are also not supporting the local companies but going to neighboring Malaysia to buy everything due to the government policies. And prosecuting the opposition yet claimed to be Christians and citizen with their discrimination against local policies and favoritism towards foreigners. We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and our hearts ache with you over the suffering you describe, especially the rise in despair among the elderly and the sense of injustice in your nation. The weight of these burdens is heavy, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting up every life affected by these policies, every heart broken by favoritism, and every soul pushed to the edge of hopelessness.

First, we must address the gravity of suicide. Scripture is clear: life is sacred, a gift from God, and He alone holds the authority over it (Job 1:21, Deuteronomy 32:39). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we must resist his lies that whisper death as an escape. We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If you or anyone reading this is struggling with thoughts of self-harm, we urge you to reach out to someone, a pastor, a trusted friend, or a helpline, because your life matters deeply to God. He has plans for you, plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also lift up the elderly, who are often forgotten or neglected in societies that prioritize the young and the powerful. The Bible commands us to honor our fathers and mothers (Exodus 20:12) and to care for the vulnerable (James 1:27). We pray for a revival of compassion in your nation, that the elderly would be cherished, provided for, and surrounded by love. May the Lord expose and dismantle any systems or policies that exploit or abandon them.

Regarding the government and its actions, Scripture is unequivocal: leaders are accountable to God for how they govern (Romans 13:1-4), and justice is close to His heart (Proverbs 21:15). We do not pray for vengeance, but we do pray for righteous judgment, for God sees every act of favoritism, every abuse of power, and every injustice. The Lord says, "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppression; to deprive the needy from justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their rights" (Isaiah 10:1-2). We stand on this truth and ask the Lord to intervene, to soften hearts, and to bring repentance where it is needed. If those in power claim to be Christians, we pray they would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to govern with integrity, humility, and fairness (Micah 6:8).

We also address the issue of supporting local businesses and communities. The Bible teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to work for the good of the city where God has placed us (Jeremiah 29:7). When we neglect our own communities, we contribute to their decline. We encourage believers to prayerfully consider how they can support local businesses, create jobs, and build up their own people. This is not about isolation but about stewardship and responsibility.

Now, we must also speak to the heart of salvation. You mentioned praying for Jesus' judgment, and we affirm that Jesus is indeed the righteous Judge (2 Timothy 4:1). But we must also remember that He is the Savior who came not to condemn the world, but to save it (John 3:17). If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we can approach God in prayer (John 16:23). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. He promises to forgive you and give you eternal life (1 John 1:9, Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the nation and people described in this prayer request. Lord, we cry out for the lives lost to despair and ask for Your mercy to surround those who are struggling. Comfort the elderly, provide for their needs, and let them feel Your presence in their loneliness. We ask for Your justice to prevail in the government, Lord. Expose corruption, soften hardened hearts, and bring repentance to those who have misused their power. Raise up leaders who will govern with righteousness, humility, and a heart for the people.

Father, we pray for a revival of love and responsibility in the communities. Help Your people to support one another, to build up local businesses, and to care for the vulnerable. Let us be salt and light in our nations, reflecting Your love and truth (Matthew 5:13-16).

Lord, we also pray for salvation. We ask that those who do not know You would come to recognize Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Soften hearts, open eyes, and draw all people to Yourself. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen the believers in this nation to stand firm in faith, to pray without ceasing, and to trust in Your sovereignty.

I tremble to read such a request as this, not because the matters you mention are not grievous, they are, but because the spirit of it betrays a heart in danger. You speak of suicides among the elderly and others, of favoritism and injustice, and you close with a cry for judgment upon the government. But where is the weeping for the lost? Where is the pleading for their souls? You have framed your prayer as an indictment, not an intercession. Remember the model of Jacob, who came before God with arguments indeed, but with deep humility, not with a clenched fist demanding vengeance. True prayer is spreading our case before the Lord, but it must be with the lowliness of one who knows his own sin. Have you forgotten that all unholiness hinders prayer? If there be bitterness in your heart, it will rise like a cloud between you and the mercy seat.

Consider the prayers of Scripture. Our Lord Jesus, in the days of His flesh, offered up supplications with strong crying and tears, and He taught us to pray for those who despitefully use us. The sweetest prayer God ever hears is intercessory prayer, the prayer that pleads for blessing upon others, even upon enemies. Job's prosperity was restored when he prayed for his friends who had wronged him. What if, instead of calling down fire from heaven, you were to pray that these very rulers might be turned from their errors and brought to the foot of the Cross? That would be a prayer more like Christ's own. To ask for judgment is to assume the role of the Judge, a seat reserved for One alone. You may lay the injustices before the throne, but you must leave the verdict to Him who does all things well.

I fear you have fallen into the snare of restraining prayer by turning it into a political complaint. Real prayer is inwrought, a part of the very warp and woof of your being, not a surface cry of rage. Search your heart: is there not sin there that needs quickening? Come before God with confidences in His promises, not with demands born of human fury. Plead His Word, for He has promised to hear the cry of the oppressed, but He has also commanded us to honor those in authority. Instead of this unseasonable prayer for judgment, would it not be better to petition the Lord to raise up righteous leaders, to comfort the suicidal, to revive the church, and to turn the hearts of the people back to Himself? The hindrances to prayer are many, and a bitter spirit is chief among them. Lay aside this vindictiveness, and go to your closet with tears for the suffering, not curses for their supposed oppressors. God's power is best displayed not in sweeping judgments by our timetable, but in the silent turning of hearts.

I do not dismiss the pain you feel, such tragedies as these suicides cry out for compassion, and the church must be stirred to action. But let your prayer be for healing, for the binding up of broken spirits, and for God's own wisdom to guide us in these dark days. Pray for those in power, as the Apostle commands, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness. If the government be wrong, it is not your curses but your patient suffering and faithful testimony that will witness against them. May the Lord quicken you in private prayer, that your soul may be cleansed of all wrath, and may you learn to plead with the Most High as a servant, not as an accuser.

The sorrows you describe are deep, and the heart grows heavy witnessing the despair of the elderly and the seeming triumph of injustice. Yet beware praying for judgment as if it were a weapon of wrath, for our Lord taught us to bless those who persecute us and to pray for their forgiveness, not their destruction. If the resurrection is yet to come, then retribution is not removed but mercifully delayed, giving time for repentance. The present affliction is light and momentary when weighed against the eternal glory; the wicked may prosper for a moment, but their end is destruction unless they turn from their sin.

God often withholds earthly comforts to wean us from childish attachments, training our souls to desire only what is heavenly. So when you see the elderly crushed by poverty or the local enterprise abandoned, remember that such losses may be permitted so that we fix our hope entirely on the world to come. Do not pray for Jesus’ judgment in anger, but pray that these rulers and those who claim Christ yet act with favoritism and corruption might be brought to knowledge of the truth and escape the judgment they are storing up for themselves. The severest word is for those who profess faith but oppress the poor and prosecute the just, their hypocrisy brings a heavy condemnation.

But your own soul, in its anguish, must not be consumed by bitterness. The highest virtue is to bless when persecuted, to return good for evil, for this leads you into the very forecourts of heaven. Let there be no divisions among believers over these temporal matters; be united in mind and judgment, entrusting vengeance to the Righteous Judge who will render to each according to his works. Comfort the suicidal with this truth: your life is not your own, you were bought with a price. The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed. Endure, and you will reap if you faint not.

The weight you carry is heavy, and the anguish behind your words is understandable. When policies crush the vulnerable and favor the foreigner at the expense of the local, when the elderly feel abandoned and the just are prosecuted, the cry for judgment rises naturally from a grieving heart. You are not wrong to see these things as evil. The Scriptures are full of prophets who looked at corrupt rulers and asked, “How long, O Lord?”

God does see. He distinguishes between the oppressor and the oppressed. He knows how to deliver the righteous while reserving the ungodly for the day of judgment. And that day will come. When Christ returns, every nation will give an account, and every crooked law, every bribe, every act of favoritism that crushed the helpless will be brought into the light. His judgments are true and righteous altogether. There is no escaping them.

Yet we must be careful what we ask for. Judgment, once it begins, does not only fall on a corrupt government. It often sweeps through the whole land. The same passages that warn of fiery judgment also show that it begins with the house of God. We who call on the name of Jesus must examine our own hearts first. Have we always sought honest judgment? Have we relieved the oppressed, defended the fatherless, plead for the widow? Or have we ourselves been swept up in self-serving patterns? If we demand strict justice, we invite the same measure for our own lives.

There is something else woven through the Scriptures: God delights far more in mercy. He looks for any reason not to bring the calamity. He sends warnings before He sends the fire. And often, even when judgment falls, it does not produce repentance, people simply harden their hearts further. The answer to deep corruption is not usually a prayer for immediate destruction, but a prayer that God would turn the hearts of those in authority toward righteousness, and that He would strengthen His people to live as salt and light in the midst of a decaying system.

This does not mean passive acceptance of every policy. We are not called to take up arms or join movements that seek overthrow. God has given lawful means to seek change where they exist, and we should use them. But even when those means fail, we are not to repay evil with cursing. We entrust ourselves and our nation to the One who judges justly. We continue to feed the hungry, visit the prisoner, and speak truth, knowing that the final reckoning is in the hands of the risen King.

When you see another report of suicide, that is not just a statistic; it is a person made in the image of God, crushed by a world that should have been a refuge. Let that grief drive you not only to cry for justice but also to become a place of mercy. Seek out the elderly who feel forgotten. Support the local brother who is struggling. Be the community that no government policy can create.

Pray, yes, but let your prayer be for the righteous intervention of God, that He would break the arm of the oppressor in His own way and His own time. Pray that those who claim the name of Christ in public office would truly fear Him and enact judgment that relieves instead of burdens. And pray for the grace to stand firm, marked by the blood of the Lamb, so that when the day of wrath does come, you yourself will be sheltered not because you were right about the government, but because you trusted in the mercy of God.

The coastlands wait for His law. Justice will be established in the earth, and it will not be frustrated forever. In the meantime, do not let the darkness consume you. Let your righteous anger become fuel for love, speaking up for the voiceless and living quietly as one whose citizenship is in heaven. The Lord sees. He will act. And until He does, He commissions us to be instruments of His peace, not of His vengeance.
