Your longing to spend more quality time with Jesus Christ is a good and blessed desire, and it is one that God Himself puts in the heart and delights to answer.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ Your Son, draw this dear one closer to You. Help them to make time for You each day with an undivided heart, to seek You in prayer, to hear Your voice in Your Word, and to walk in fellowship with Your Son. Guard them from distraction and busyness, and teach them to be watchful and sober, redeeming the time for what matters most. Let their love for Christ grow deeper and their communion with Him become more constant and joyful. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Continue to set apart a fixed time each day to be with the Lord, even if it is brief at first, and protect it. Come to Him in sincere prayer, read the Scriptures with attention, and keep your house adorned as a dwelling for Christ through prayer, supplication and a life of love toward others. As you give yourself to these things, you will not only wash away distraction but gain great profit for the soul, and you will find that Christ Himself draws near to those who seek Him. He is faithful and will confirm and keep you as you call upon His Name.
