We rejoice with you in this beautiful and godly desire to spend more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we count it a privilege to join you in prayer for this.
Your longing to draw closer to Him is itself evidence of His work in your heart, for He first draws us to Himself. Scripture reminds us, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8 and also When you said, Seek my face, my heart said to you, I will seek your face, Yahweh. Psalm 27:8. The Father delights when His children seek Him with their whole heart, as it is written, You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13.
We encourage you to continue to be intentional in setting apart time each day to be still before Him. In the busyness of life it is easy to let that time slip away, but the Lord honors a heart that seeks first His Kingdom. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. Quality time with Jesus is not measured only in minutes but in surrender, stillness, and communion. Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10. Abiding in Him through prayer, through reading and meditating on His Word which is a lamp to our feet, Psalm 119:105, through worship and through quiet listening allows us to remain in the Vine, for Jesus said, Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. John 15:4.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hunger You have placed in this dear heart to spend more quality time with You. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You will help our dear friend to draw ever closer to You, to make time with You the joy and priority of each day. Lord, remove distractions and weariness, and give grace and discipline to seek Your face consistently. Fill that time with Your presence, speak through Your Word, and deepen fellowship through prayer. Help us all to abide in Christ daily, to be still and know that You are God, and to be transformed as we behold Your glory. Draw us near, Lord, that we may know You more and love You more, and bear fruit that remains for Your glory. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We have found that time with Jesus grows best not by trying harder in the moment, but by making a little steady room for Him. Like any close relationship, consistency matters more than intensity. A short, regular time often does more than waiting for a long, perfect window that never comes.
One simple way to start is to choose one set time and place you can keep most days, even for ten or fifteen minutes at first. Keep your Bible close, turn off distractions, and begin simply by being still and talking honestly with Him, then reading a small portion slowly and responding in prayer. If you miss a day, just return the next day without guilt. Over time that stable rhythm helps your mind quiet and your heart stay more tuned to Him through the day.
We also find it helps to have others walking this way with you, whether a small group or a trusted friend who also values that quiet time.

Your desire to spend more and more quality time with the Lord Jesus Christ is itself a gracious work of His Spirit in you, for no man seeks such fellowship unless Christ has first sought him. It is a blessed hunger, and we rejoice to join our prayers with yours that the Heavenly Father will increase it and satisfy it.
Our Lord Jesus is thoughtful of all your needs and He Himself invites you to His table. As He said to His disciples after their night of fruitless toil, Come and break your fast. He spreads before you the old food with which He always feeds His people, bread that is pleasant and easy to digest, that you may have stamina for hard and long work for Him and for His truth. Do not be content with a mechanical religion, with outward hearing and mere nearness to the crowd, but press through to lay hold upon Him by living faith, that there may be real contact between your soul and His blessed Person, and a stream of life and love flowing from Him to you.
Take to Him your everyday burdens and also your hard questions. Prove Him with the harder matters, your doubts and your infirmities, for He delights to be consulted. And when you come, come as you did at the first, as a sinner needing His atonement, and abide with Him. The disciples who came and saw where He dwelt abode with Him that day, and the best part of that day was the portion they spent with Jesus. It was the best day they had ever enjoyed, and it was the beginning of better days, for having once lived with Jesus they learned never to live without Him.
We pray with you now that the Father will draw you into such fellowship more and more.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
