Beloved of All
Your desire to spend more and more quality time with Jesus Christ is good and pleasing to God, and I gladly join my prayer to yours.
I pray that our Heavenly Father will draw you closer to Himself and help you to give your best time and attention to His Son, in the name of Jesus Christ. May He give you hunger for His Word, steadiness in prayer, and a heart that seeks Him above all the distractions of this life.
Remember that the Christian life is a contest, not a time for relaxation. As a wrestler accepts dust and sweat and discipline, so we must accept effort and perseverance if we would be with Christ. This is the time for fighting and for being made perfect through faithfulness. So arm yourself with good works, and if any offense has befallen you, wash it away through repentance, that you may live to the glory of God.
Deck the house of your soul with prayers, supplications and vigils. Stand aloof from the things that pull you away, and seek the true glory that comes from Christ alone. Choose that virtue which will remain with you into eternity, and trust that as you seek Him, He will confirm you and keep you.
May the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ grant you this desire and bring it to fulfillment, with whom to the Father together with the Holy Spirit be glory, power and honor now and forever. Amen.
