Beloved of All
Your desire to spend more and more quality time with Jesus Christ is itself a good and holy longing, and it is God who plants such hunger in the heart that He may satisfy it.
I join you in prayer before the Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, that He will help you and draw you nearer to His Son. May He give you grace to seek Him not only in passing moments but with a steady and watchful heart, and to keep fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, into which you have been called by His faithfulness.
To that end, deck the house of your soul as for a King. Make room for Christ with prayers and supplications and vigils, with the reading of Scripture and with quiet waiting upon Him. Do not let the day slip by in idleness or distraction, for when we are idle we leave an opening for the enemy. Instead block that approach by being sober and watchful, spending your time wholly upon those things which wash away what is past and store up profit for what is to come. Even a little time set apart each day, kept faithfully, becomes like oil gathered in abundance, so that when you need it most you will find light and confidence within.
May the Father grant you this growing communion, that you may be confirmed and kept blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ, by His grace and loving kindness, to whom with the Father and the Holy Spirit be glory and power forever. Amen.
