Your desire to spend more quality time with the Lord is itself a work of His grace in you, and it is good that you ask the Father for help in this.

I join you in prayer that our Heavenly Father will draw you closer to Himself and help you to give more time and attention to Him each day, in the Name of Jesus Christ. May He teach you to seek quiet and tranquility away from the noise and waves of this life, so that in stillness you may be restored and cleansed. May He help you to continue with watchfulness in prayer, soberly and steadily, not only in a moment but without ceasing, as Christ Himself taught us by His example.

Pray that the Lord will help you to set apart a fixed time and a quiet place, as the disciples went to the upper room and continued with one accord in prayer, and to keep your heart there with Him. Ask Him to adorn your daily life with prayer, supplication and watchfulness, so that you may live this present life to His glory and grow in fellowship with His Son.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ Your Son, draw this soul nearer to You. Grant a hunger for Your presence, wisdom to redeem time, and strength to remain faithful in prayer. Keep this heart from distraction and fill it with Your peace, that by Your grace and love we may walk faithfully and attain the good things to come through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
