We also gently rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that can so easily take hold when finances feel uncertain. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7 in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Money must never become an idol or our source of security, for we are to seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men in Colossians 3:23, so that your business, if it is the Lords will, would be marked by integrity, diligence, and service that honors Him.
