Money

Beloved of All
The town is lieing and abusing us because we do not have money and they are using money to control us in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

We hear your cry for justice and relief from the oppression you are facing. It is deeply troubling to see those in positions of authority misuse their power to control and manipulate others, especially when it involves financial exploitation. The Bible is clear that God despises injustice and oppression, and He calls His people to stand against it.

The love of money is indeed the root of all kinds of evil, as Scripture warns us: "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10 WEB). Those who wield money as a tool of control are walking in direct opposition to God’s will. We must remember that true authority comes from God, and those who abuse it will be held accountable: "But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality." (Colossians 3:25 WEB).

We also want to gently remind you that our access to God and His power comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered from oppression: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can break the chains of injustice and bring true freedom.

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing oppression and injustice at the hands of those who misuse their authority. Lord, You see the lies, the manipulation, and the control being exerted over them, and we ask that You would expose the truth and bring these deeds into the light. Father, we rebuke the spirit of greed and corruption that seeks to dominate and destroy. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, for You are their defender and shield.

Lord, we ask that You would provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Break the chains of financial bondage and release Your supernatural provision in their life. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate this situation, and surround them with godly counsel and support. Father, we pray for those who are oppressing them, that their hearts would be softened, and that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face.

We also pray for our brother/sister’s faith to remain steadfast in You. Strengthen them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Help them to trust in You alone, for You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of oppression, fear, and poverty to flee. We declare that this situation will turn around for Your glory, and that justice will prevail. May Your will be done in this matter, Lord, and may Your name be exalted.

Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your provider and defender. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Seek out a local body of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support, and continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). God is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this battle.

We hear the pain in your words, when a whole town turns money into a tool for control and humiliation, it cuts deep. The lies, the manipulation, and especially having it done “in the name of Jesus” is a heavy, confusing burden. That kind of treatment can make you feel powerless and invisible, but your worth is not measured by your bank account or the opinions of those who misuse His name. God draws near to the crushed in spirit, and He sees every hidden hurt.

We are praying that He gives you steady courage and practical protection. If you can, reach out to a trusted Christian friend or pastor outside this situation, someone who will listen without judgment and help you find stable footing. In the meantime, hold onto the truth that you are beloved and dignified in God’s eyes, no matter what others say.

Jesus, You know what it is to be despised and mistreated. We ask You to wrap this dear soul in Your peace. Shield them from the words that want to crush their spirit, and open a way where every door seems shut. Give them wisdom, real provision, and a caring community that acts justly. Break the power of those who use money to oppress, and restore what has been stolen, dignity, hope, and trust. In Your strong name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The enemy of your soul would use the lack of money to make you believe you are forsaken, but hear this: persecution seems to be the wave that, when it leaps up around her, speeds her course. This very slander, this abuse from those who would control you, helps to keep up the separation between the church and the world. Let it drive you nearer to your God. How many prayers have been offered up as the result of persecution that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell. God has blessed the church by her persecution.

I say, Be not so foolish as to remain in all your poverty and wretchedness when you may be rich. Why, Christian, are you now poor? I will lend you the key called "Promise." Though the wind may come and blow between the rags that cover you, if you can say, "I am perfect in Jesus," you can be content with poverty. It will be like medicine to soothe your spirits.

Consider the poverty of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor. This poverty was voluntarily undertaken. He was emphatically rich and so, when He descended into poverty, it was poverty with an emphasis laid upon it. His poverty was seen in His condition, in His reputation, in operation, in communion. Scarcely any poverty in the world is like it, Jesus of Nazareth was most manifestly a poor Man and in His poverty He suffered hunger, and thirst, and weariness, and all the woes usually associated with poverty.

But this is your comfort and your wealth: that you, through His poverty, might be made rich. Christ in His poverty should be most commonly the object of your contemplation. At the very outset we see how the poverty of Christ Incarnate has enriched us. What poverty it was for Him, the Infinite veiled in human flesh, yet by this He has secured for His people the true riches. When you are slandered and pressed down, look to Him. Justice itself is satisfied. God can be just, and yet the justifier of the one who trusts in Jesus. Christ is the one Head of His Church, and His true Church is free from both the control and the patronage of the State. The world cannot truly control those whose life is hid with Christ in God.

Your true injury is not the lack of money, but the bitterness festering in your souls under these insults. Understand this clearly: the injustice practiced by those who abuse you inflicts far greater harm upon themselves than upon you. They think they control you through wealth, but in truth they are enslaved by their own covetousness, gnawed by a conscience that cannot be silenced. Do not envy their fleeting comfort, which ends only in sleeplessness, guilt, and a heavy judgment, unless they repent.

You, however, have received power to become children of God. No one can strip this dignity from you unless you first cast it aside through despair or by returning evil for evil. Do not repay reviling with reviling, nor call down curses upon those who misuse Christ’s name to oppress you. If you answer fury with fury, you merely share in their sickness. The peace that subdues these earthly conflicts comes only when you learn to despise the loss of money and the sting of false accusation as things of no eternal account. A man who steals your outward goods cannot touch the treasure laid up above, unless you let his malice rob you of your own gentleness.

Stand firm, then, in truth. God draws those who seek His help with a willing heart, but He does not accept an offering brought through injustice, nor does He honor His own name when it is invoked to mask abuse. Do not, therefore, join their sin by repeating their lying words, even to report them, as though the Lord were party to their schemes. Instead, commit your cause to the Judge who sees all, and see to it that your own conscience remains unsoiled. That is the victory which no amount of human wealth can ever secure.

The abuse you are describing is a terrible thing, and it has nothing to do with the character of Jesus Christ. When people use money to control, lie, and oppress others while draping it in the name of the Lord, they are acting in complete opposition to His kingdom. Their actions reveal a heart that has bowed to the prince of this world, who operates through such systems of power. Do not be deceived into thinking their behavior reflects God’s heart toward you. The world’s way is to grasp for control and status, but Jesus laid all of that down.

There is a kind of power the world craves and flaunts, the power of wealth, influence, and the ability to dominate. Satan showed all the kingdoms of the world to Jesus and offered that very thing. But that power is corrupt, fleeting, and ultimately empty. Many who have chased it have found themselves in darkness, not realizing that having influence over people and circumstances without the Spirit of God is a horrific trap. The Scriptures remind us that the outward show of strength, the purple and gold of worldly success, often masks a deep rebellion against God. Your lack of money does not place you at their mercy in the eyes of heaven.

What you need is not what they claim to have. What you need is the power of the Holy Spirit, which operates entirely differently. Jesus Himself, though He was the Son of God, ministered in the anointing and power of the Spirit. He did not rely on earthly wealth or political control. With a simple command, He healed the sick, broke demonic bondage, and calmed the raging sea. That is true authority. And yet, He did not always remove difficult outward circumstances. Sometimes the most profound work happens when we are pressed down, as it separates the genuine faith from the shallow. When the early church was persecuted and had everything stripped away, the result was not defeat but a rapid, powerful expansion of real ministry and a deeper love for one another. The world’s pressure brings the body of Christ close together, strengthening mutual support in a way comfort never can.

So do not see your financial situation as a sign of God’s forgetfulness. The psalmist cried out, “Where is your God?” while his enemies reproached him and the oppression felt like a sword in his bones. He remembered God’s past works and His covenant love, yet he struggled to understand his current adversity. That tension is part of a genuine walk with God. He is the God who watches over you when you are sick in bed, who is intimately aware of your suffering. His power is not in question; the question is often about His will and His timing, working a deeper reliance on Him rather than on the provisions of this world.

The people afflicting you are using the wrong name to justify their actions. Do not believe the lie that they have the upper hand. The control they think they have is an illusion bound to this passing age. Pray that the true power of God would invade your life and your situation. It is far better to be filled with the Spirit, able to declare truth even in poverty, than to have all the money in the world and be empty of His presence. Fix your eyes on Jesus. His power sets people free from the very kind of spiritual bondage that makes others act with such cruelty. Those who are His are held by Him, and no earthly force can pluck you from His hand.
