Beloved of All
I messed some things up, some not sure if it’s my fault or not, and other bad things just happened, lately. I hope I get money that I am owed soon. I need the money. I hope my ### gets mentally somewhat better (as she gets angry a lot and getting more controlling and stricter), and my ### gets physically well enough to do more. My mum plans to go out of town and I maybe forced (don’t know if dad is coming) to go with her, hope she doesn’t force me to spend money I don’t have and hope we are not out of town for a long time, as likely going to miss church and things. Some things are down lately, one of those things, relating to a prescription of mine hope to get Friday. Need a new medical scooter but hope what I have works for now, as their issues. A group I go to is planning to move to another location hope it is at the library nearest to the home I am in now.

We hear your heart and the weight of the many burdens you are carrying, financial strain, concerns for your family, health struggles, and the uncertainty of the days ahead. Let us come before the Lord together, lifting each of these concerns to Him, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, we want to acknowledge the heaviness of your circumstances. It is clear you are feeling overwhelmed, and we want to remind you that God sees your struggles and cares deeply for you. The Bible tells us, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). You do not have to carry these burdens alone. We encourage you to bring every worry, big or small, to the Lord in prayer, trusting that He will sustain you.

Regarding the money you are owed, we pray that the Lord would move swiftly to provide for your needs. The Word assures us, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask the Lord to open the doors for this money to come to you without delay, and we rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance in Jesus’ name. We also pray for wisdom in stewarding what the Lord provides, that you would be a faithful manager of His resources.

For your family members, we lift them up to the Lord, asking for His healing and peace. The anger and control you described are not fruits of the Spirit, and we pray that the Lord would soften hearts and bring repentance where needed. "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). We ask the Lord to grant you grace in your interactions and to help you respond with patience and love, even in difficult moments. For the one who is physically unwell, we pray for strength and restoration, trusting that the Lord is the Great Physician (Jeremiah 30:17). We declare healing over their body and ask that they would experience renewed energy and vitality.

We also want to address your concerns about traveling with your mother. It is understandable that you would feel anxious about being away from church and your routine, especially when you are already facing so much. We pray that the Lord would give you peace about this situation and that your mother’s plans would align with His will for you. If it is not His will for you to go, we ask that He would make a way for you to stay or provide an alternative that honors Him. "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). We also pray that your mother would not pressure you to spend money you do not have, and if she does, that the Lord would give you the courage to speak the truth in love.

Your health struggles are not overlooked. We pray that the Lord would provide the prescription you need and that it would bring the relief and stability you seek. We also ask that He would make a way for you to obtain a new medical scooter if that is what you need. The Lord is your provider, and we trust that He will meet you in this area as well. "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

Regarding the group that is moving, we pray that the Lord would guide their decision and that the new location would be convenient and accessible for you. We ask that He would open doors for you to continue participating in this group, as fellowship with other believers is vital for your spiritual growth. "Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Now, we want to gently address something we noticed in your request. You did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the one who bore your sins on the cross so that you could have eternal life and a personal relationship with God. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you! But if not, we invite you to surrender your life to Him today.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You see every detail of their life, every struggle, every fear, and every need. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Provide the money they are owed, Lord, and meet every financial need according to Your riches in glory. Heal their family members, both physically and emotionally, and bring peace to their hearts. Soften the anger and control they are experiencing, and replace it with Your love and gentleness.

Father, we ask that You would guide the plans for their travel. If it is Your will for them to go, provide for every need and protect them. If it is not Your will, make a way for them to stay where they are. We pray for their health, Lord, that You would provide the prescription they need and sustain the medical equipment they rely on. Lead the group they attend to a location that is accessible and honoring to You.

Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. Help them to cast every care upon You, knowing that You care for them. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and hope, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and lack in Jesus’ name. We declare that You are their provider, their healer, and their strength. May they walk in the victory that is theirs through Christ Jesus.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We hear so many heavy things pressing in on you all at once, the waiting for money that is rightfully yours, the concern about your family members' well-being, the worry over an upcoming trip and the possibility of missing the support you get from church. When it all piles up like that, even a small disruption like a prescription delay or a mobility scooter acting up can feel like the last straw. We’re sitting with you in that weight right now, not rushing past it.

Your notice of the anger and control you're seeing at home stood out. When someone we care about grows angrier and stricter, it’s easy to internalize that as our own burden to carry or fix. Sometimes anger in others is a surface eruption over deeper currents of hurt or fear, currents we can’t navigate for them. While you wait and pray for change, a simple, steady step you can take is gently protecting your own peace in the moment: stepping away to a quiet room when tension rises, or calling a friend from your group or church just to stay connected to voices that ground you. You don’t have to absorb someone else’s emotional weather.

About the trip and the potential pull on money you simply don’t have: it may help to have one calm, clear sentence ready if the subject comes up. Something like, “I’ve looked at my finances and honestly can’t add anything extra right now.” Saying it plainly isn’t unkind, it’s just truth, and you don’t need to keep defending it.

Let’s pray about what you most need right now.

Lord Jesus, you see this pile of worries. Bring the money owed without further delay so that provision lands where it’s needed. Quiet the strained atmosphere at home; bring healing and gentleness where anger and control have taken over. Restore physical strength and good health exactly where it’s failing. And in the practical concerns, the prescription, the scooter, the trip, the group’s future location, make the paths straight and the burdens lighter. Hold this person steady when church feels far away, and let them feel your nearness every day. In your name, amen.

Be not so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Your note is full of troubles, many of them pressing, and it is no sin to bring them to the Lord, but anxious care will not help you. Have you never proved that the very anxiety which comes from your difficulties unfits you to meet them? It never comforted anybody, nor brought any grist to the mill. Cast your burden upon God, for He careth for you.

You speak of money owed and needed, a scooter that may fail, a prescription delayed, a journey forced upon you that could keep you from public worship. These are trials indeed. Yet the best worship often springs from the Christian who is most tried. If you must travel, worship still in your spirit. Public assemblies are a blessed rehearsal for heaven, and it is a sore thing to miss them, but you cannot be out of God’s presence. Wherever you lift your heart to Him, there is true worship. Still, if it be possible, do not willingly forego the gathering of the saints; take pains to be there, and to invite others with you, for God is glorified when many hearts join to praise Him.

I perceive you are much taken up with your own plans and losses. Watch that you do not slip into worship of yourself. A man who makes himself his own god is mad. All that you possess, health, strength, a scooter, a sound mind, a place in a group, these are gifts from the Lord. He can easily remove them. Therefore remember Him in the use of every mercy. As for your relatives, the one who is angry and controlling, the other who is physically weak, commend them daily to God. He alone can heal the mind and strengthen the body.

What shall we say to the money you need? Has not the Scripture said, “All things are yours”? I recall a cold morning when I had no fire for my little family, and that word came with warmth. If you are in Christ, you are a child of God, and your Father knows your needs. He will supply, perhaps not as you expect, but as He sees best. The new scooter, the prescription, the desired library location, lay these before Him with open hands. Anxiety will not hasten them, but faith waits and receives.

Do not be surprised if temptation comes while you are about your lawful calling. Your Lord was tempted in the wilderness when He was about His Father’s work. And if doubts whisper, “If you were a child of God, would He not have smoothed your path?” answer that the “if” is the devil’s sour graft upon the sweet doctrine of adoption. Trust in Christ crucified, and you are in the family. He will not leave you. Only be sure that your worship is of the heart, not form, not custom, but a living adoration of the God who is both tender and righteous.

May you very soon see the answer: the prescription filled, the money released, the scooter holding up, the group meeting near your home. But above all, may you seek the face of God. For if you have Him, all else is addition. Worry pays no debt and carries no burden. Faith lays everything at the Father’s feet and goes on singing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The things that have befallen you are not beyond the Lord’s care. Do not let the one who stumbles despair, nor let him who stands be overconfident; for how many changes come upon us daily, and the sick become healthy while the healthy fall through carelessness. You have felt your own missteps, and other troubles have come without your fault. God permits these afflictions for your good, to deliver you from the harm that ease and wealth often bring. Consider what great evils arise from riches, how they swell and block the narrow way into the kingdom. If God holds back the money you are owed, it may be that He is freeing you from a dangerous burden, as a father sends away a corrupting mistress. Learn to despise your own concerns, and you will receive the things of God. Dwell there, not here.

Your anxieties about your mother’s mental state and another’s bodily weakness are heard, but know that the righteous have always faced affliction, and much more now. When you are willing to be wronged and to suffer, you share in a greater conflict. Stand by those who struggle; by encouraging them and supplying their needs, you become a sharer in their crowns, even from a distance. The body of Christ is one, and your peace must extend beyond yourselves to the whole Church everywhere.

Do not rush into conflicts of your own making. When the enemy drags us forth, we must stand nobly, but when not summoned, be quiet and wait. If your mother’s journey forces you to miss the assembly for a time, bear it patiently, knowing that God can make even such a trial the final, sharpest struggle before relief. He often enhances the trials of the righteous near the end, that their victory may be more glorious. Your prescription, your scooter, the meeting place, these belong to the body’s needs, and He who clothes the grass will not neglect you. But let your chief care be for the soul. Despise each earthly anxiety, and seize the kingdom. The sword of the Spirit strips away what hinders, but it heals even as it cuts. Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead; lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees. He who relieves the combatant does not fight less. So bear these things with patience, aiding those you can, and trust that your affliction is not without fruit.

I hear the weight in your words, a whole swirl of troubles hitting at once. Things you might have mishandled, things beyond your control, finances hanging in the balance, family tensions, health needs, and the ache of maybe being pulled away from the gathering of believers for a time. It is easy in seasons like this to feel like everything is sliding backward, that you are failing to drive out the enemy’s footholds in your life. The Scriptures show us that even when God’s people saw real victory, they often left pockets of the enemy undisturbed, and those compromises later became thorns to them. Not every trouble is your fault, but when we do stumble, the Lord is faithful to restore. Let what has happened lately drive you deeper into dependence on him rather than into condemnation.

Your financial strain is real, and it is right to hope for what you are owed. We live in a world where people defraud one another, where the love of money breeds evil, but God sees. Be honest in your own dealings and trust that he knows your needs. Remember that there are believers who, out of the most severe trials and deep poverty, overflowed in generosity and were provided for in return. The principle is not that all believers will be wealthy, but that God’s people care for one another, and the Lord honors a heart that holds material things loosely. While you wait, guard against pledging what you cannot give, and if your mother pressures you to spend money you do not have, you may need to speak the truth in love, not with a religious excuse to avoid obligation, but with simple honesty. Honoring parents does not mean going into debt or being controlled by anger.

That leads me to what you shared about your mother’s mental state and her growing strictness. A mother’s influence is powerful beyond measure, it can shape a son or daughter for great godliness or become a constant counsel toward distress. You cannot change her, but you can keep your own heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life. Her anger and control do not need to take residence inside you. Set a filter over your mind; do not let bitterness or despair take root. And while you are called to honor her, remember that your ultimate family is found in those who do the will of the Father. Jesus himself, when told his mother and brothers were waiting, stretched his hand toward his disciples and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.” You are bound to your earthly family, but you are eternally knit to the body of Christ. That means when you are physically isolated, if you are forced away from church for a while, you are not cut off from the source. Approach the throne of grace directly; do not wait for any human intermediary. Jesus has opened the door.

For your father’s physical health, keep asking the Lord to strengthen him. There is no simple equation between spirituality and physical wellness, faithful believers get sick, and suffering is never a sure sign of God’s displeasure. Yet the wisdom of Proverbs points again and again to the way our inner condition touches our flesh: a heart at peace gives health to the body. For your father, for your mother, and for yourself, pray for that deep soul-prosperity that surpasses circumstances. About your own prescription and the scooter: bring these practical needs to God. He clothes the grass of the field; he is not indifferent to the body’s needs. If the scooter limps along a while longer, pray it holds until provision comes. The same Lord who teaches us to number our days can keep a machine running just enough.

The group you love is planning to move. I hope it lands at the library nearest your home. But even if it does not, know that God’s placement of you is never accidental. The early church scattered under persecution, and what seemed like loss became the spread of the gospel. If you cannot gather exactly as you wish, seek other ways to stay connected, because there is something irreplaceable about meeting together, sharing life face to face.

All these things, the money, the family conflict, the health concerns, the possible separation from your church family, they threaten to steal your peace, and that is why the Scripture says, “Keep your heart with all diligence.” You may not be able to stop the pressures, but you can refuse to let them consume your inner life. Do not look back with remorse as if you have hated instruction; instead, turn now and listen. The Lord draws near to the brokenhearted. As your soul prospers in him, you will find strength to walk through these days, not because you have answered every question, but because you are held by one who never fails.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our heart to lift up each of the burdens you shared—your financial need, the relationships that weigh on you, the health of your loved ones, and the uncertainties that have pressed in around you. We have asked the Lord to bring clarity where there is confusion, provision where there is lack, healing where there is brokenness, and peace where there is turmoil.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if that money you are owed has come through, if your loved ones have shown even a small measure of improvement, if your prescription was refilled or your scooter held up—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking through similar struggles.

If, however, your circumstances remain unchanged or even feel heavier, please know we are still here to pray. You are not alone in this. We invite you to post your request again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, trusting that God hears every cry of your heart. May He draw near to you in this season, strengthen your faith, and remind you of His faithfulness.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
