This girl ### I have tried to help her because she did not have any money and now she makes excuses why she does not have it she owes me a lot in the name of jesus

We hear your frustration and concern, and we want to address this situation with both truth and love. It’s commendable that you sought to help this young woman in her time of need, as Scripture encourages us to be generous and kind to those in distress. However, it’s also important to recognize when help becomes enabling, and when accountability is needed.

The Bible tells us in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.'"
This doesn’t mean we withhold help from those truly in need, but it does mean we should not enable irresponsibility or a lack of effort. If she is making excuses rather than taking steps to manage her finances or repay what she owes, this is a heart issue that needs to be addressed with both grace and truth.

We also want to gently remind you to guard your own heart in this. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." While you may not have intended this to be a loan, if she now owes you a significant amount, it could strain the relationship and even create resentment. It may be time to have an honest conversation with her about repayment, setting boundaries, and encouraging her to seek wisdom in managing her finances.

Most importantly, we must lift this situation to the Lord in prayer, for He is the one who provides wisdom, justice, and restoration.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with heavy hearts, seeking Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Lord, You know the details of this circumstance, and You see the hearts of everyone involved. We ask that You would soften this young woman’s heart to take responsibility for her actions and to seek You first in all things. Give her a spirit of diligence and wisdom in managing what You have entrusted to her.

Father, we also ask for protection over the one who has shown kindness and generosity. Guard their heart from bitterness or resentment, and give them the strength to set healthy boundaries if needed. Help them to speak the truth in love, always pointing this young woman back to You.

Lord, we know that all provision comes from Your hand. We pray that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory, and that You would teach us all to trust in You rather than in our own efforts or the efforts of others. May this situation draw each person closer to You and remind us all of Your faithfulness.

We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that we find true wisdom, peace, and restoration. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believer in your church. They can offer guidance on how to navigate this situation in a way that honors God and protects your heart. Remember, Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Lean on the wisdom of others as you move forward.

Lastly, if this young woman does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, this could be an opportunity to share the gospel with her. The greatest need she has is not financial, it is spiritual. Pray for an opening to share the love of Christ with her, for it is only through Him that true transformation occurs. Romans 10:13 reminds us, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." May she come to know the hope and freedom that is found in Jesus alone.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We hear the frustration in your words. It hurts to extend heartfelt help, only to feel taken advantage of when someone makes excuses and avoids repaying what she owes. You acted with generosity, and now you’re carrying the weight of that broken trust and the financial loss. We’re sorry you’re in this painful spot.

This kind of situation can stir up resentment or wear down your spirit, so we want to encourage you not to let bitterness take root. Forgiveness doesn’t mean pretending the debt doesn’t matter or that you have to keep handing over money. It means you can release the anger and the demand for repayment into God’s hands, while still wisely addressing the practical side. That might include having one more calm, honest conversation with her, setting clear, realistic terms if she really wants to make things right, or deciding before the Lord to let the debt go and not let it hold your heart captive. You don’t have to carry this alone; consider asking a trusted friend or a mature believer to pray with you and help you sort through the next step.

We’re praying now for you and for this young woman. Lord Jesus, you see the wrong that has been done and the hurt in this sister’s heart. Give her your peace that surpasses understanding, and guard her from resentment. Grant her wisdom to know how to move forward, whether to pursue a careful resolution or to release the debt. We also lift up the woman who owes the money; move her toward honesty and responsibility, and meet both of them in their real needs. You are our provider and defender. In your name we pray, amen.

The debt she owes you is heavy upon your heart, yet think of the debt which the Lord forgave you, a thousand talents against your hundred pence. "There is forgiveness with God," and that same forgiveness must flow through you. You could not forgive the debt, perhaps, for her sake, there may be something about her excuses that would harden your heart. But can you do it for Jesus' sake? "For Jesus' sake" is the most powerful motive a Christian can have.

Remember, you are but a steward, nothing is your own, it is all your Master's. If He has permitted this loss, it is that "the bones which You have broken may rejoice", that your faith might no longer rest in the provision of man, but in the boundless compassion of Jehovah. This is a surprising forgiveness, but it is divine, and it is eternal. Let this whisper drive away despair: "There is forgiveness." No Christian can be a grinder of the poor; rather, release her from this obligation as you have been released, and find your treasure in the God who forgives the chief of sinners. He will supply every need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come speaking of money owed in the name of Jesus, yet consider how much you yourself owe that same Lord. The debt against you is a handful of coins; your own debt to heaven is ten thousand talents, an amount no arithmetic can reckon. If He should call in what you owe, not even your life would satisfy it. Yet He forbears. He does not seize you by the throat. And this girl, whatever her excuses, is a fellow servant. Will you, after receiving such mercy, demand a few miserable pence as though they were your own?

The love of gold is a savage tyrant. It drives men mad. Judas sold the Lord of the world for thirty pieces of silver, and it would have been better for him had he never been born. Do not let this passion rule you. The money is a trifle; your soul hangs in the balance. You have a chance now to act like God Himself. When you forgive a trespass or a debt, you imitate the One who shed His blood for enemies. What you release is not lost. It becomes a treasure stored where no thief can steal it. Cling to it, and it perishes; give it up in mercy, and it is truly yours.

She may be at fault. Let that be her burden. Your own burden is to show the same kindness you have received. Do you wish to be the servant who throttled his fellow and was handed to the tormentors? Or do you wish to hear, “Blessed is the man whose iniquities are forgiven”? Cover this small debt as you pray your great sins may be covered. Then you will understand that the debt you truly owe is not to be collected, but to be paid forward in mercy.

It is deeply frustrating when help freely given is met with excuses, and you feel taken advantage of. That sense of injustice rises quickly in our hearts. Yet it is here, in this very real financial wound, that the words of Jesus become the most direct and the most difficult to hear.

People are remarkably creative when they do not want to do something. You have heard the excuses about why she cannot pay. They are likely not reasons at all, but simply a way to avoid responsibility. Often, behind a string of excuses is just a heart that is unwilling. We see this in the parable where every invited guest began to make excuses, and behind their polite refusals was the simple truth that they did not want to come. A person who becomes skilled at making excuses is ultimately mastering a fruitless craft. The real issue is not a lack of opportunity to repay, but a lack of desire to do so.

But the most startling instruction Jesus gives is not about the one who owes, but about the one who is owed. He tells a story of a servant forgiven an impossible, astronomical debt, who then went out and violently choked a fellow servant over a trifling sum. The point is not that the smaller debt was not real or legitimate. It was. The point is that the servant, having been released from a crushing weight he could never repay, refused to release another from a far smaller weight. The Lord’s anger burned against that servant, and he was handed over to be tormented until he paid what was due. The warning is sobering: if you do not forgive your brother from your heart, the forgiveness you have received is placed in jeopardy.

This is not a teaching to be explained away or softened. We are stewards, and how we handle money reveals the true condition of our hearts before God. The poor and the rich meet together on level ground at the judgment seat of Christ. Those with little are not free from greed, and those with much are not automatically ensnared by it. Both are called to the same standard of mercy. You are being called to use your present position not to secure a few dollars, but to establish a future reality of freedom and mercy in your own soul. Clinging to a legitimate debt can do eternal damage to the one holding the ledger.

Your prayers for her are not as powerful as they could be if they are mixed with resentment over this money. The sacrifice of releasing the debt is greater than any offering you could make while clutching the offense. Cancel the debt. Write it off in your heart and in your account. Do it specifically and finally. The freedom you give her is nothing compared to the freedom you will find for your own soul. Then, with a clean heart, you can go and pray for her genuine need, no longer as a creditor, but simply as a fellow servant of the King.
