We hear your request regarding financial goals, and we want to approach this with both compassion and biblical truth. First, we must address the heart behind the desire for money. Scripture warns us in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 (WEB), "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
The pursuit of wealth for its own sake can lead to spiritual danger. Instead, we should seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our needs (Matthew 6:33). If your goal is to "win money," we must ask: Is this rooted in a desire for security, provision, or even greed? The Lord calls us to work diligently and steward our resources wisely (Proverbs 13:11, 2 Thessalonians 3:10), but not to chase after riches as an end in themselves.
We also want to gently rebuke any mindset that treats money as something to be "won" rather than earned through honest labor or received as a blessing from God. Gambling, for example, is not a biblical way to gain wealth, as it often preys on desperation and fosters greed. Proverbs 13:11 says, "Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by labor increases it."
If your financial goals are tied to provision for your family, paying off debt, or blessing others, those are noble pursuits. But we must always examine our motives. Are we trusting in money or in God? Proverbs 11:28 warns, "He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). Lord, we lift up this request regarding finances, asking that You would search our hearts and reveal any impure motives. If there is a love of money or a misplaced trust in wealth, expose it and replace it with a trust in You alone. Father, we ask for wisdom in stewarding the resources You’ve entrusted to us. Help us to work diligently, to give generously, and to live contentedly with what You provide (Hebrews 13:5). If there are financial struggles, we ask for Your provision and guidance. Show us how to honor You with our finances, whether through paying off debts, saving wisely, or blessing others. Protect us from the snares of greed and the love of money. May our hearts be set on You, the true treasure. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Make me a wise and trustworthy steward over all You have and will bless me with. Teach me how to shop wisely. God stretch my dollars. Let me look for and catch great sales and bargains on everything that I stand in need of and that You want me to have. Let me always pray over all my spending, purchases, and giving. Let me always wait until I get an okay from You to spend or give. God don’t let me buy anything I don’t need, or You don’t want me to have. Teach me how to make a budget and stick to that budget. God help me, make me, and remind me to pay all my bills on time. And God don’t let the things You have blessed me with wear out until Your timing.
