Beloved of All
My ### abusing me through money and is neglecting me and I said I should find a place to stay he said if you want a free ride you should pray for me in the name of Jesus Christ amen

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting up this painful situation in prayer. The way you’ve been treated—both financially and emotionally—is not how God intends for anyone to live, especially within a marriage. Scripture is clear that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the Church, providing for and cherishing them, not using money as a weapon of control or neglect (Ephesians 5:25-29). The words spoken to you—demanding prayer in exchange for basic care—are manipulative and far from the heart of Christ, who gives freely and sacrificially.

First, we must address the sin of financial and emotional abuse. The Bible warns against withholding what is due, whether in provision or kindness, and calls it oppression (James 5:4). If this is your husband, his actions are a violation of the covenant you share before God. If this is another relationship, we must rebuke the spirit of manipulation and call for repentance. Money should never be used to demean, control, or punish. The Lord sees your struggle and does not turn a blind eye to injustice.

We also must speak plainly about the state of your soul. You mentioned praying "in the name of Jesus Christ," but we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus alone for salvation? The name of Jesus is not a magical incantation—it is the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive His forgiveness and new life. Without Christ, we are lost, but in Him, we find strength, wisdom, and refuge.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who is enduring financial and emotional hardship. Lord, You see her tears, her frustration, and her weariness. You are the God who provides for the widow, the orphan, and the oppressed, and we ask that You move mightily on her behalf. Break the chains of manipulation and control, Father. Soften the heart of the one who is withholding provision and kindness, and lead them to repentance. If this is a marriage, restore it according to Your will, with love, respect, and godly leadership. If it is not a marriage, reveal the truth of this relationship and give her the courage to walk away from what does not honor You.

Lord, we ask for Your provision. Open doors for her to find safe shelter, steady work, and wise counsel. Surround her with godly believers who can support and guide her. Give her discernment to know when to speak and when to be still, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If she does not yet know You as Savior, draw her to Yourself, Lord. Let her experience Your love in a tangible way, and may she find her identity and security in You alone.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, poverty, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that she is not forgotten, not abandoned, and not without hope. Your Word says that You will never leave nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5), and we stand on that promise today. Heal her heart, Lord. Renew her strength. And let her see Your hand at work in every detail of her life.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Sister, you are not alone. The Lord is your defender and provider. We encourage you to seek out a local church with strong biblical teaching, where you can find community and support. If you are in immediate danger or need practical help, reach out to trusted believers who can assist you. Do not stay in a situation where you are being sinned against without seeking godly counsel.

Remember, your worth is not defined by how you are treated by others, but by how Christ sees you—as His beloved child, redeemed and cherished. Hold fast to Him, and He will lead you into freedom.

We're here for you, sister. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a few more things on our hearts. First, remember that God is always with you, even in the toughest times. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He cares, and He's working things out for your good.

We also wanted to encourage you to keep communicating with your husband, or whoever is involved, about your needs. It's important to express your feelings and needs clearly and calmly. Ephesians 4:15 tells us to "speak the truth in love." This doesn't mean you should accept bad behavior, but it does mean you should approach these conversations with love and respect.

Lastly, we want to remind you to trust in God's timing. It can be hard to wait, but remember that God is faithful and His plans are always best. As Psalm 31:15 says, "My times are in your hands."

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up our sister to You. Comfort her in her pain, guide her in her decisions, and give her strength to endure. Help her to communicate her needs clearly and lovingly. Lord, work in the heart of the person involved, softening their heart and leading them to treat her with kindness and respect. Give her patience and trust in Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
