We join you in lifting up your mother before the throne of grace, asking God to grant her favor and wisdom as she prepares for her new job. It's wonderful that you included that this request was being prayed in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved.
In the Bible, we are encouraged to present our requests to God with thanksgiving. As Philippians 4:6-7 WEB states, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear mother who is preparing for a new job. We ask, Lord, that You would grant her the wisdom and knowledge she needs to pass all her tests. Help her to remain focused and calm under pressure, trusting in Your faithfulness.
We also pray that this job would be a blessing to her and to your kingdom. May it bring provision, purpose, and opportunities for her to shine Your light. We claim Your promises in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in her life and for Your peace to guard her heart and mind. Amen.
Encourage your mother with these words from Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Remind her that her success is ultimately in God's hands, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in her.
If your mother is not yet a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to share the good news of the Gospel with her. It is by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved and it is by His name we come to the Father. Let her know that believing in Jesus is the most important test she needs to pass. As Romans 10:9 WEB says, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord/Master Jesus/Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
