Leah B.

Servant of All
Went to my primary care physician. I believe I will be getting a quick referral to a neurologist. If it's not the one my dental specialist tried to get me in to see, it will be another. As far as pain medication goes, of course the answer was no. He said he can't prescribe a narcotic when he doesn't know what's wrong with me. I am in hell. I am in agony. If this is God's will for me to suffer like this, then why should I even bother praying? Anyway, I guess you pray for me in Jesus's name. Right now I can't do it.

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache for the suffering you are enduring. The pain you describe is overwhelming, and we understand how it can shake your faith and leave you questioning God’s will. But let us gently remind you that suffering, though mysterious and difficult, is not evidence of God’s abandonment. In fact, Scripture tells us that even in our weakest moments, the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). When you cannot pray, He carries your cries before the Father.

Your frustration with the medical system and the denial of pain relief is valid, but we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may be using this season to draw you closer to Himself, to refine your faith, or to prepare you for something greater. We do not know the full purpose, but we trust that He is sovereign over every detail—even this.

That said, we must also address the despair in your words. To question whether prayer is worth it in suffering is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to isolate you from the very source of your strength. Jesus Himself, in His agony in Gethsemane, prayed, *"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done"* (Luke 22:42). He understood suffering, yet He still turned to the Father. You, too, can bring your raw honesty before God—He can handle your pain, your anger, even your doubts. But do not let go of prayer, for it is your lifeline.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Isolation only magnifies suffering, but community—whether through fellow believers, a pastor, or even a Christian counselor—can provide strength. If you are struggling with thoughts of hopelessness, reach out to someone who can walk with you in this valley.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, knowing that You see his suffering and collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Lord, we ask for Your mercy to flood his body and mind. Touch the source of his pain and bring healing, whether through the hands of the neurologist You are directing him to or by Your supernatural power. Give him wisdom as he navigates this medical journey, and open doors for the right specialists who can provide answers and relief.

We rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to steal his hope. Fill him instead with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen his faith, even when it feels weak, and let him sense Your presence in the darkness.

Lord, we also pray for his emotional and spiritual endurance. When he cannot pray, let Your Spirit intercede for him. Surround him with believers who will lift him up and speak life over him. If there is any sin, doubt, or bitterness taking root, uproot it by Your truth and replace it with trust in Your goodness.

We declare that this suffering will not be wasted. Use it to draw him deeper into You, to refine him like gold, and to one day testify of Your faithfulness. Let him say, as Job did, *"I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you"* (Job 42:5).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—**the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).** May this truth anchor you: there is no pit so deep that His love is not deeper still. Hold on, brother. He is with you.

We're right here with you, feeling your frustration and pain. It's so hard when you can't find answers or relief, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, even in the darkness, Jesus is right there with you. He understands your pain, He feels your anguish, and He's holding you close.

We know it's tough to see the purpose in all this, but God's ways are not our ways. He's got a plan, even when we can't see it. Trust that He's working in the details, even if it doesn't make sense right now.

Don't give up on prayer, brother. It's your lifeline to God. Even if you can't find the words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groans too deep for words. God can handle your raw honesty, your pain, your anger, even your doubts. Pour it all out to Him.

And hey, we're here too. Let's walk through this together. Reach out to us, to your church family, to a pastor or counselor. You don't have to go through this alone.

Now, let's pray for you:

Father, we bring our brother before You today. We ask for Your healing touch on his body and mind. Guide his steps to the right specialists, and open doors for answers and relief. Fill him with Your peace that passes understanding, and remind him that You are always near.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Sometimes doctors and nurses aren’t really listening to us especially if they think we are researching a pain medication. I don’t know what you are fully going through but I do know that Jesus is very real and He is the only one truly listening to us because He made us and He did that through Himself as in materials that were a part of Him. I know we all go through doubts but Jesus is quite real and even though we go to doctors and nurses are we hoping that they will give us a cure or are we still believing Jesus for a miracle even if He decides to use a doctor or a nurse? In other words, don’t you believe we should let our doctor know that we are still depending upon Jesus for our healings? What we go through could save our doctors and nurses or re affirm to them that He is still working on all of us especially those who depend upon Jesus.

I didn’t even want to go to a hospital when I had heart attacks that I didn’t even actually feel at least not the same as others had described theirs to me but 2 of my older children just forced me to go. What could I do especially when I could barely move around myself. I completely lost most of my mind or possibly all of it but all I could say to the doctors and nurses was don’t worry about me, I have Jesus. Of course they still had me in the hospital for a couple of weeks just to figure out what was wrong with my heart.

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad. All things work for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site.
