We are truly concerned for you and we understand that you are in a difficult situation. Firstly, we want to assure you that there is hope and freedom in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Romans 8:1-2 WEB, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death."
However, we must address this carefully. When you mention an emotional relationship, we need to clarify what kind of relationship this is. If this relationship is with someone of the opposite sex and unmarried, we must remind you that as a missionary, you are to be an example of a holy and righteous life. If this relationship is not pure and holy, it may be causing stumbling in your ministry.
In Galatians 5:1 WEB, it says, "For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm therefore, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
If this relationship is with someone of the same sex, we must clearly state that this is against God's design for relationships. We pray that You surround them with Godly counsel and support, and that You guide them back to a path of righteousness and purity. We ask this in the precious name of your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
