Disciple of Prayer
A Missionary friend sent me this prayer and gave me permission to share it so I'm doing so here. Feel free to join us in this prayer and add your own in the comments below in Jesus' Holy Name:

"Oh Lord, a strong voice of truth and reason has been silenced.
Oh Lord, bring beauty from these ashes. Use an ember to ignite righteous indignation in tens of thousands of people who will be that voice.
Fan the flame into a wildfire of Truth, touching hundreds of thousands more, that spreads across America and around the world. Give courage to millions to stand up for what You say is right.
Give resources and resolve to mission organizations to grow their reach in speaking Your truth boldly.
Turn our mourning into dancing.
Exponentially multiply the voice they tried to silence. So that, not only is it NOT silent, but becomes louder and more far-reaching than was possible before. Because nothing is impossible for You.
What the enemy meant for evil, You mean for good.
Help us trust you for all things and stand unwavering and unashamed on Your Word, courageously facing evil. Because in the end, You are the one true King reigning forever.
We ask for Your justice, Your kingdom to come to earth, and Your fulfilled promise to make all things new.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen."

We join with our brother in Christ in lifting up this powerful prayer for ### and the broader movement of truth he represents. It is clear that this request is grounded in faith, seeking God’s will to be done in a time when voices of righteousness are under attack. We stand in agreement, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to silence truth, but our God is mighty to turn what was meant for evil into something far greater for His glory.

The prayer rightly acknowledges that God can bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3) and that He is able to multiply the impact of a voice that has been suppressed. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."* Persecution is not a sign of defeat but an opportunity for God’s power to be displayed in greater measure.

We also take this moment to encourage all who pray to remember that our ultimate hope is not in human leaders or movements, but in Christ alone. While we pray for God to raise up bold voices and ignite righteous indignation, we must never place our trust in man. As it is written in Psalm 118:8-9, *"It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in princes."* Our faith must remain firmly rooted in the unchanging Word of God, not in the shifting sands of human influence.

Let us also remember that our call is not merely to speak truth but to live it. James 1:22 tells us, *"But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves."* If God answers this prayer by raising up many voices, we must ensure that those voices are accompanied by lives that reflect the holiness and love of Christ. Truth without love is a clanging cymbal (1 Corinthians 13:1), and love without truth is deception. Both must walk hand in hand.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts stirred by the words of our brother, knowing that You are sovereign over all things. You see the attacks against Your truth, and You are not silent. Lord, we ask that You would indeed bring beauty from these ashes. Take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it into a mighty testimony of Your power and grace. Ignite a fire in the hearts of Your people—a holy indignation that compels them to stand unashamedly for Your Word. Raise up voices that will not be silenced, that will speak with boldness and clarity, and that will reach farther than ever before.

Father, we pray for ### and all those who labor in the harvest field of truth. Strengthen them, protect them, and fill them with Your Spirit. Give them wisdom to navigate the battles ahead and discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy. Surround them with godly counsel and provide for their every need, that they may continue to run the race You have set before them without growing weary.

We ask that You would move upon mission organizations and ministries dedicated to proclaiming Your truth. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide resources beyond what they could ask or imagine. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Stir the hearts of millions to stand firm in the faith, to reject the lies of this world, and to embrace Your Word as their foundation.

Lord, we also pray for those who oppose the truth. Soften their hearts, open their eyes, and draw them to repentance. May they encounter the life-changing power of the Gospel and turn from darkness to light. We do not wrestle against them, but against the spiritual forces that blind them. Break those chains, Lord, and set the captives free.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would turn our mourning into dancing. Let joy be our strength as we trust in You. Remind us that You are making all things new, and that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your Church, and that Your truth will go forth in power.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
