We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your phone and the feelings of guilt and anger that you are experiencing. We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?"
Your feeling of backsliding and struggles with family can be a test of your faith. We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, as Hebrew 12:2-3 WEB says, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don't grow weary, fainting in your souls."
We are here to pray with you as you navigate this challenging time. You mentioned that you feel your faith is as small as a mustard seed, but remember what Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 WEB, "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling guilty, angry, and lost after misplacing their phone. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.
Father, we also pray for their family situation and their walk with You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus. Give them the courage to stand firm in their beliefs and to trust in Your unfailing love and guidance.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through. Stay strong and encouraged and say the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayers.
