** Missing my mama......**

Prayer Family, I come today asking for prayers of peace and comfort for our brother in faith, Harold, and myself. Both of us lost our mothers last year, and this will be our first Mother's day without them. I was doing pretty well, I thought, until I was in the store buying my mother-in-law's Mother's Day card. Suddenly a very sad, heavy spirit came upon me and the tears started to flow. I ask for prayers today for all those who have lost their mothers ~ that God's peace and comfort might dwell in us deeply. I praise God for the lives of faith that Harold's mom and my mom led, and for the countless ways in which our mothers shape our lives. They are truly gifts of God. I also pray that those who still have their mom or a significant female figure in their earthly lives celebrate them with much joy, love and appreciation. In the holy and precious name of Jesus I ask these things.

Lord, I touch and agree with this prayer. I stand up with K-J and Harold and all the others who have lost their mom's. Give them an extra ounce of strength as Mother's Day draws near. Fill them with your love and peace. Let them remember all the good times. Let us rejoice knowing we will see them again in Heaven. Thank you, Lord. Amen

Lord I ask for comfort for KJ and Harold. SUrround them with Your awesome love and peace. Put Your loving arms around them and lift their spirits. Replace the tears with a smile and the hurt with joy. Strengthened them both Lord. Be there and share with them that You have the mothers with You and they are in Perfect Hands. In Jesus' name. I prayed for you K-J and for Harold, this morning, that our God of all comfort would lift your spirit and minister to you. Even tho it's been many years for me, I've felt that despair. All I can offer is to encourage you to try and turn it into gratitude for what an awesome Mom you had, which is far far more than many others. And to thank Him for each quality of hers that touched your life and made you love her soooo much! The tears still flow, but they can actually be tears of intense gratitude and love for God because of this special grace upon your life. The cause of your sorrow turns into an overwhelming thankfulness for what you had AND knowing she is now being rewarded for her faithfulness AND you WILL see her again! How very cool is that!

Abba Father I come before You with a heavy heart today, as I read this post, I too am aware of the dull ache in these hearts, Lord I pray that Your peace wash over KJ and Harold today, Father prepare them for the days ahead, and let them rejoice in their memories. Lord God I ask for a special touch of Your hand, I pray that You catch every tear, and wipe away every moment of turmoil that comes from missing a loved one today, tomorrow and always. Lord I pray that You let KJ know that we are here for her, and Harold, as before tear for tear, smile for smile, heartache for heartache, Lord I love my friend, and I beg You to just hold her heart sooooo close to You at this time, in Jesus name I pray amen.......

Heavenly father, I lift up K-J and Harold today. Please comfort them. Nothing can replace a loved one. Mothers are such a great gift from you. My heart aches for Harold and K-J. As they remember the love and wonderful memories their mothers gave them. That their mothers are with you. Forgive me father for not having the right words at this time. In Jesus name. Amen.

Father, I pray that you comfort KJ and Harold on this request. It is a strange feeling, Father, when the " firsts" approach and you realize that your mother won't be there. Bring them the comfort and the knowledge that their loved ones are with You and one day they will all be together in the Kingdom. IJN Amen
