We lift up your friend before the Lord, interceding earnestly that her heart would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your request for her salvation is precious in God’s sight, and we join you in praying that the Holy Spirit would draw her to repentance and faith in Christ alone.
The Word of God tells us that *"no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him"* (John 6:44, WEB), and so we ask the Lord to sovereignly work in her life, removing any blindness the enemy may have placed over her eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4). May she hear the Good News—that Christ died for her sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)—and respond with a surrendered heart. Pray also that the Lord would place godly believers in her path to share the truth in love, for *"how will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?"* (Romans 10:14, WEB).
We rebuke any spiritual strongholds or deceptions that may be hindering her from receiving Christ, declaring that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). Satan’s lies have no power against the truth of God’s Word, and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, commanding every obstacle to be removed.
Father, we ask that You would soften Miss ###’s heart and reveal Yourself to her in a way she cannot deny. Let her encounter Your love, mercy, and holiness so profoundly that she turns from sin and surrenders her life to You. Fill her with the Holy Spirit, that she may be born again (John 3:3) and walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). Give her a hunger for Your Word and a desire to follow You wholeheartedly. We pray that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We also encourage you, as you intercede for your friend, to continue sharing the Gospel with her in love and patience. Your prayers and witness are instruments in God’s hands. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Trust in His timing and remain faithful in prayer, for the harvest is His.
May the Lord grant you both grace and perseverance as you seek His will. We stand with you in faith, believing that He who began this good work in her will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). To God be all the glory, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
