Misconceptions about the dead

The world has some offbeat ways of looking at the dead. One, it seems anyone who dies is automatically proclaimed to be a wonderful person.People who were victimized by a persons misdeeds in life, all of a sudden give a glowing speech about what a wonderful person the deceased was.But lets look at that. When Charles Manson died, were we supposed to say he was a kind hearted, wonderful person? And Hitler? And Emperor Nero?{I mean, if they died in their sins?}Let's see what we read in the book of Revelation."And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before the Thronre. And books were opened. And another was opened, it was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according those things written in the Books. AND WHOSOEVER was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire."Well...there goes the worlds theory that death vindicates everyone. If it's death that purifies you, why are so many dead people being cast into the Lake? You have to get right with God while you're alive. If you die in your sins, death itself won't send you to Heaven. There is no "cleansing qualities" about death in itself, despite people praising the dead to the High Heavens. If someone dies in their sins, they'll exist in their sins into eternity.Right?Second, these "assumptions" that they "know" where the dead person wound up? How many times have you heard someone say that one who has die in an ongoing sin,the survivor looks up, and says ,they "know" they woke up to a better existence now.Based on...that the survivor had a high emotional view of them?Someone having a high opinon of another isn't a ticket to Heaven. And lastly, people in the world have this weird thought that if a loved one dies, and the survivor gets out of a few tight spots, they're "convinced" that the departed loved one is "helping" them in their life. But this had pagan origins.Alot of misconceptions the world has about death. We need to bring them from the darkness to the Light. Amen.

No one can stop people dying of old age, illness or an accident that happens in our life. The best scientists and the best brain in the world like Eistein could not stop death on earth. The only One who promised us eternal life in heaven is Jesus. Those who died in sin and doing evil in the world will end in hell and those who did wonderful things for people and obeyed Gods word will end up in heaven. Do not praise the dead. They do not anything anymore. They are gone forever and will never ever return to earth. The only thing you can do when someone dies is to fast and pray for those who are left behind to mourn their dead. Comfort them, tell them how you feel about it and ask the Lord to send peace down deep in their souls.

Eternal damnation is a misconception of 20th century century church, as Jesus clarifies to one sister clare in one of the Youtube videos. Probably He may save all the dead before His second coming. There could be an increase in life spans as mentioned in the book of Isaiah & Revelation. We see from Genesis that after the flood of Noah's time the curse of God was on humans because of human and animal killings. As we race towards the promised land, there could be a restoration of Gods blessing on human longevity and peace on earth. May the Lord restore His blessings as we await a new earth ! ( Thank you Lord Jesus for the writing skills. )

Death is only a door we must pass through. On the other side of our passing wonderful things shall happen. The glorious presence of Jesus shall overwhelm us and will make our hearts rejoice. Death is not the end. We are on our way to heaven. Fast and pray for those who do not know where they are gona end up when their time is up. Ask the Lord to save their souls and make sure they are saved and on their way to glory. No more sorrow, no more pain, no more strife and evil. Only peace, joy and happiness awaits for us in our heavenly home.

I agree that life after death is complex. Our beliefs are often influenced by our world views. Thats why we should find answers based on the word of God and the teaching if Jesus. Thanks.

I want to die in peace, in joy and in happiness. Hearing songs of praise to Jesus and I will join the heavenly choir to sing the wonderful things God has done for us. That is my hope when I pass away and meet my Savior and Lord.
