Miracles

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of great need, lifting your requests before the throne of grace. The weight of financial strain and unemployment is heavy, and we know the enemy seeks to use these trials to steal your peace, kill your hope, and destroy your faith. But we declare that God is not a man that He should lie, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His promises over your life remain true. The Word declares in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a verse; it is a covenant promise for those who trust in Him.

We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that has tried to take root in your heart. The Lord did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every chain of financial bondage to break in the mighty name of Jesus! The enemy has no authority over your provision, God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is your Jehovah Jireh, your Provider. We speak life and abundance over your situation. Doors of opportunity that no man can shut will swing wide open for you, and favor will surround you like a shield (Psalm 5:12).

We also pray for your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). The stress and anxiety you feel are not from God, and we take authority over them in Jesus’ name. We declare that you will not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, you will present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6). Even now, we thank Him for what He is about to do in your life.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and by which we have access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is in desperate need of Your miraculous intervention. You see their struggles, their fears, and their needs, and You are not indifferent to their pain. We ask You to move mightily on their behalf. Open doors of employment that no man can close, and provide financial breakthroughs that will not only meet their needs but also position them to be a blessing to others.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your Word is true, and we stand on the promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remove every trace of anxiety and replace it with faith and trust in You. Lord, we ask for supernatural favor in interviews, applications, and every opportunity that comes their way. Let Your light shine upon them, and let Your glory be revealed in their situation.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season. Guide their steps, Lord, and let them walk in the path You have prepared for them. If there are areas where they need to adjust their spending, their habits, or their trust in You, reveal those things and give them the strength to obey. We thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we cannot see the full picture. We trust You, Lord, and we declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You.

We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm on God’s promises and not waver in your faith. The enemy wants you to focus on the storm, but Jesus is in the boat with you, and He commands the winds and waves to be still (Mark 4:39). Keep your eyes on Him, not on the circumstances. Continue to seek Him in prayer, meditate on His Word, and surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and stand with you in faith.

Remember, God is not limited by your current situation. He specializes in turning impossibilities into testimonies. Hold on to His promises, and do not let go. Your breakthrough is coming!

We hear how heavy this has become with employment and finances feeling so uncertain, and we understand why stress and anxiety have grown. When the basics feel unstable it touches everything, sleep, energy, peace at home, so it makes sense you are feeling worn down.

We are praying with you for clear openings and for wisdom for each decision in front of you. We also know lasting relief often comes as we care for the whole picture while we trust God, not just waiting for one big fix.

One thing that has helped others in a similar spot is to narrow the next steps to something small and doable this week. For employment, that might be reaching out to one contact, updating a resume, or visiting a local employment resource for guidance. For finances, sitting down with a trusted person to look at what is coming in and going out and what is most urgent can bring a little more clarity and reduce the sense of spinning.

If you notice the stress is making it hard to rest or get through the day, please consider talking with a pastor or counselor and, if needed, a medical professional as well. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we bring this need to You in Jesus name. You see the pressure around work and money and the anxiety it brings. Provide for what is needed, open doors for work, grant wisdom and steady peace as each next step is taken, and remind our friend of Your nearness and care. Amen.

The weight you describe, of needing daily bread and seeing no sure way to provide it, is a trial that presses very heavily upon the spirit, and your honest confession of stress and anxiety is heard with deep sympathy.

Our Saviour says, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. This does not mean we are to be idle or imprudent, for we have no right to be wasteful even with what is our own, and we are to provide for our households with diligence and honesty. But it does mean we are not to be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care and distress. I have never discovered, either by my own experience or by observing others, that anxiety has ever comforted anybody, or that it has ever brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Indeed, the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. It clouds the judgment, weakens the hands, and robs prayer of its calm confidence.

Yet there is a God who knows your need and is able to supply it. Remember the widow of Zarephath, who gave her last handful of meal to the prophet. That meal which she brought was taken out of her store, and yet not taken out of it, for it was meal given her by miracle, the first installment of miraculous provision. Her barrel of meal did not waste, neither did her cruse of oil fail, because the Lord sustained her. He who fed that widow is still the Lord who provides. He may do it by opening a door of employment, by the kindness of others, by giving you wisdom to be prudent and faithful in little things, or by a deliverance you did not expect, but His eye is upon those who trust Him.

Therefore I would urge you to cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Bring your temporal affairs before the Lord in plain and earnest prayer, not with a fretful telling of your trouble to yourself alone, but with a childlike telling of it to your Father in heaven. Be diligent in such honest means as are within your reach, be prudent in what He has already entrusted to you, and leave the outcome with Him who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows.

We will pray for you.

O gracious Father, Thou knowest the need of this Thy creature, the pressure of want and the weariness of anxious thought. Forgive all sin through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation, and give peace that passes understanding. In Thy kindness, provide for daily need, open a door for honest labour, grant wisdom to steward what is given, and keep the heart from distrust. Let faith live and anxiety die, and let it be seen that Thou still keepest the barrel from wasting for those who trust Thee. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
