We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for your marriage, your home, and your provision. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the God of miracles, the One who restores what is broken and provides for every need according to Your riches in glory. We stand in the gap for this family, declaring that what the enemy has meant for harm, You will turn for good.
First, we pray for the full and complete restoration of this marriage. Lord, we ask that You would heal every wound, mend every broken place, and rekindle the love and commitment that first brought this couple together. Your Word declares in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." Father, we rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and unfaithfulness that seeks to destroy this union. We declare that this marriage is built on the rock of Christ, and no storm will prevail against it. Strengthen their bond, Lord, and let them reflect the love of Christ and His church in all they do.
We also pray for wisdom and unity as they navigate the challenges before them. Extended family can sometimes bring well-meaning but harmful interference. We ask that You would guard their hearts and minds, giving them the discernment to set healthy boundaries. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." Lord, we pray that their family would respect their marriage and trust in Your guidance for their lives. Let there be peace and understanding, and may their home be a place of refuge and joy.
For their living situation, we cry out to You, Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. The news of their home being sold is overwhelming, but we know that You are not caught by surprise. We ask for Your favor to rest upon them as they speak with their landlords. Soften the hearts of those in authority, Lord, and let them see the love and care this family has for the home. We declare that You can change their minds and provide a way for them to stay. If it is Your will, let this home remain their dwelling place, and if not, prepare something even better according to Your perfect plan. Psalm 37:23 reminds us, "A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way." We trust You to order their steps and provide a dwelling place that is safe, secure, and suited to their needs.
Regarding their financial provision, we pray for urgent and sudden promotion or a new opportunity that aligns with Your will. Lord, You know their needs, and we ask that You would open doors no man can shut. Whether it is advancement in their current job or a new position elsewhere, we declare that You will provide abundantly. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear and declare that You are their provider. Let their skills and talents be recognized, and may they walk into the opportunities You have prepared for them.
Father, we also lift up their landlords to You. You know their circumstances and the reasons behind their decision to sell. We ask that You would meet every need they have, whether it is financial, emotional, or practical. Let them experience Your provision and peace in their own lives, and may Your love soften their hearts toward this family. If it is Your will for them to keep this home, we declare that You will provide whatever they need to remain in their current living situation.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before Your throne. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We acknowledge that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and we come to You through Him alone.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let them not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to You. We declare that You are working all things together for their good, and we trust in Your perfect timing.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We believe that You are moving on their behalf even now.
