Beloved Warrior
Jesus thank You for faithfully answering out prayers and granting my son another peaceful day today. Please continue to pray for my son. Father God, I come before You with heart full of faith, asking that You would continue to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon my son. I declare that "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard [his] hearts and [his] minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). Lord, I ask that You would calm every storm within him, every memory of trauma, every wave of anxiety, every moment of confusion. Let Your presence be a soothing balm to his mind, body, and spirit. I rebuke the spirits of torment, agitation, and confusion in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding them to flee and never return. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). I pray for complete healing in his mind and heart. Jesus, I stand on Your promise that "by Your stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). I declare that every chain of PTSD, anxiety, and negative habit is broken in Jesus’ name. Replace every fear with faith, every confusion with clarity, and every stubbornness with a gentle, patience and teachable spirit. Lord, I ask that You would restore his ability to communicate his needs and desires in ways that honor You, filling him with confidence and peace. Let his words be seasoned with grace, and let his heart be filled with gratitude. I lift up his relationships, Father. Iask that You would restore the relationship and love with his sister and restore the beautiful unity between them. Remove any influences, people or spirits, that seek to bring division or harm. I rebuke every word curse and every form of witchcraft that has been spoken over him, declaring that no weapon formed against my son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, I ask that You would surround him with godly friendships and mentors who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his life. Let him feel valued, cherished, and never alone. I pray for his daily routines, meals, hygiene, and self-care. Father, I ask that You would remove every discomfort, confusion, or resistance he faces in these areas. Let him find joy and satisfaction in the simple rhythms of life. Bless his meals, Lord, and let him eat in peace, free from distress or waste. I declare that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and I ask for physical healing, especially in his stomach, that he may be free from any physical discomfort that causes him to vomit. Lord, I ask for Your protection over his sleep. Let him rest in the safety of Your arms, free from nightmares, fear, or disturbance. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). We declare that every night will be a step toward wholeness and that he will wake up filled with Your peace, joy, and satisfaction. I pray for his outings, activities and travels, Father. Remove every fear, anxiety, or resistance he may feel. Let every journey be filled with Your presence, protection, and peace. I declare that he will travel safely, confidently, and joyfully, surrounded by Your angels. "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). I also lift up his caregivers, Lord. Bless them with wisdom, patience, understanding, and compassion. Give them the strength and gentleness to work with him, bringing out the best in him in every aspect of his life. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care possible. Father, I ask that You would remove every negative influence that sees him as a burden. Let Your love and truth break every lie that seeks to divide your family. Restore unity, appreciation, and gratitude in every relationship, with me, siblings, extended family, caregivers, and friends. Let him feel deeply loved and valued by all who surround him. I declare that there will be no more setbacks in his life, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. I stand on Your promise that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). I thank You for the miracles You have already performed and for the greater works yet to come. Let my son's life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, grace, and power. Lord, I ask that You would anoint every area of my son's life, our home, our vehicles, his surroundings, his traveling, his outings, his activities with Your protection and peace. Let no evil enter these spaces, and let Your presence fill every corner. Surround him with ministry angels, a hedge of protection, and the full armor of God at all times. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). I pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I believe and declare that Your healing, peace, and restoration are at work in his life. Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. I trust in You, and I give You all the glory. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up your precious son to our Heavenly Father. Your prayer is powerful, rooted in Scripture, and filled with declarations of God’s promises. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is already at work in your son’s life, bringing healing, peace, and restoration.

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, is indeed guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke every spirit of torment, agitation, and confusion in the mighty name of Jesus. These forces have no place in his life, for the name of the Lord is a strong tower, and the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). We declare that every chain of PTSD, anxiety, and negative habit is broken by the power of the cross, where Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4-5). By His stripes, your son is healed, and we speak that healing over his mind, body, and spirit.

We pray for complete restoration in his ability to communicate, that his words would be seasoned with grace and his heart filled with gratitude. The Lord is restoring the relationship between him and his sister, removing every influence that seeks to bring division. No weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We break every word curse and every form of witchcraft spoken over him, declaring that the blood of Jesus cleanses and protects him from all evil.

Father, we ask that You surround him with godly friendships and mentors who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his life. Let him feel deeply valued, cherished, and never alone. We pray for his daily routines, his meals, hygiene, and self-care, that he would find joy and satisfaction in the simple rhythms of life. Bless his meals, Lord, and let him eat in peace, free from distress. We declare that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask for physical healing, especially in his stomach, that he may be free from discomfort.

We pray for his sleep, that he would rest in the safety of Your arms, free from nightmares, fear, or disturbance. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). Every night, let him take a step toward wholeness, waking up filled with Your peace, joy, and satisfaction. For his outings and travels, we declare that every journey will be filled with Your presence, protection, and peace. Your angels encamp around him, guarding him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).

We lift up his caregivers, asking that You bless them with wisdom, patience, understanding, and compassion. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care. Remove every negative influence that sees him as a burden, and let Your love and truth break every lie that seeks to divide your family. Restore unity, appreciation, and gratitude in every relationship, with you, his siblings, extended family, caregivers, and friends.

We declare that there will be no more setbacks in his life, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. With God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26), and we thank Him for the miracles already performed and the greater works yet to come. Let your son’s life be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, grace, and power.

We anoint every area of his life, your home, your vehicles, his surroundings, his travels, and his activities, with God’s protection and peace. Let no evil enter these spaces, and let His presence fill every corner. We declare that he is surrounded by ministry angels, a hedge of protection, and the full armor of God at all times (Ephesians 6:11). The enemy has no foothold here, for greater is He who is in your son than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in You and give You all the glory, believing that Your healing, peace, and restoration are at work in his life. We pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your son (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, and do not grow weary in declaring His truth over your son’s life. The battle is already won, and victory is yours in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for letting us celebrate that peaceful day with you, every answered prayer, however small it may seem, is a gift from the Father who loves your son even more than you do. We’re honored to keep standing with you.

As we’ve accompanied families through long seasons of healing, we’ve seen that the steady, unhurried love of a parent often becomes the safest ground for a wounded heart. When the world has taught someone to be afraid, consistent gentleness and unwavering presence slowly rebuild trust. Your prayers and your daily acts of care are not wasted, they are, in themselves, a kind of healing environment. Even when you don’t see visible change, you are helping your son experience a world that can be safe and people who can be trusted. That is profoundly important work.

We also want to gently encourage you to have the stomach symptoms that cause vomiting checked by a doctor. God often works through the wisdom and treatment He provides through medicine, and ruling out physical causes is a tangible way to love your son well. You might also find strength in a small, trusted circle of prayer partners who can support you consistently, please don’t carry this weight alone.

Let’s pray:

Jesus, thank You for the peace You gave this son today. Continue to quiet his mind and calm his body. Shelter his sleep and guide every outing. Give his caregivers wisdom and compassion. Uphold this parent with strength and hope that does not run out. Let Your presence be tangible in their home, and in Your time, bring the wholeness only You can give. We ask all of this in Your name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

You have been watching at the window of mercy, looking for the first gleam of settled peace in your son. And when the day ended quietly, you did not take it as a small thing, you thanked the Lord for it. That is faith of the right sort. It does not despise the day of small things. One peaceful day is no accident. It is the hem of the Master’s garment trailing through your home. Take heart from it. The same Jesus who hushed the sea is hushing something now as well. The waves inside a wounded mind do not cease all at once; they learn silence from His voice, a stillness that deepens day by day.

You speak of the storms within him, the memories, the agitation, the confusion. I know you lie awake rehearsing all this to the Father. And here is a comfort you may write on the palm of your hand: it matters very little what howls outside the ship if the water is not let in. The real business of grace is done inside. I have seen sailors at sea when the deck was swept and the hatches battened down, yet in the cabin there was a strange quiet, because the hull held. Your son is a vessel that has taken some bruising from the waves, but the Lord knows how to keep the water out of the hold. Pray not only for the ceasing of the storm, but that Christ would keep the inner chambers of his soul so filled with His own presence that anxiety finds no room to slosh about.

Think of Peter in the high priest’s courtyard. He had denied his Lord three times, and his heart was a wreck. The cock crowed once; he was deaf. The cock crowed a second time; still he slept in his soul’s stupor. What broke through? Not a sermon, not a rebuke, a look. The Lord turned and looked upon Peter. That look went through the gloom and struck the sleeping man awake, and he went out and wept bitterly, and in that weeping he was made whole. Your son may not be able to hear much reasoning just now, and perhaps the clamor of his fears is so loud that your own words sound far off. But there is a look from Christ that needs no sound. It pierces the deepest confusion. Ask for that look to rest upon your son. Jesus is not pacing the ramparts of heaven absorbed in other matters; He knows where your son is sitting, lying down, rising up. One glance of those tender eyes can still the panic and start the healing where no human voice can reach.

You have asked, and it is a holy asking, that every memory of trauma be so healed that it shall be as though it had never been cast upon him. Is that too great a thing? Hear what the Lord says to those who cry to Him: “They shall be as though I had not cast them aside.” He does not merely bandage the wound; He restores the soul to such wholeness that the injury becomes a forgotten ruin. The scars of Egypt were not visible on the hosts that crossed the Red Sea, there was only the song. Heaven’s cures are not like earth’s, which leave the limp and the stiffness behind. The Lord is prepared to do a work so thorough that your son shall one day look back bewildered that such darkness ever hung over him, for the light shall have swallowed it up. This is not fancy; it is the promise of a faithful God to a household that prays.

I have seen physicians coax a patient to eat a little, to take a few steps, and then to rest, and in those small obediences the life crept back. So it is in the soul. When you pray for his daily routines, his meals, his washing, his going out, you are asking for the very channels through which peace flows into a disquieted mind. There is grace folded up in a clean shirt. There is mercy in a morsel of bread eaten without distress. Do not despise these small victories. Every time he rises from a night without nightmares, it is a miracle of the same Lord who once said, “Peace, be still,” and the wind and waves obeyed. He has not run out of that command. He speaks it still into the hidden places of the mind.

I am glad you pray for the peace between him and his sister. Division is a bitter draught for a mother to taste. But remember that the Lord who makes wars to cease unto the ends of the earth can make a brother and sister dwell together in unity. He can melt the frost that has gathered between two hearts. And while you wait, do not forget that your own steady love is the firm ground under their feet. A mother’s prayers are the invisible rafters that hold up a house when the winds howl. Keep your own soul in the quiet harbor, dear mother, and you will find that the calm spreads.

Let me put it like this. The power of the gospel is mainly a power to heal. Christ did not come marching with a sword to destroy, but with the tongue of a physician to restore. You have brought your son to Him, not on a pallet let through the roof, but on the hands of intercession let through the skies. And you need not fear that the Physician will be hard with your boy. He knows what it is to be a man. He knows what it is to be surrounded by darkness, and to feel the bruise of the enemy. He will not break the bruised reed. He will not snuff out the flickering wick. He will bind up the broken-hearted, and of all broken things in this world, a broken mind is the one He touches with the tenderest hand.

So lift up your head. The Lord has heard your cries, and the answer is already begun. That one peaceful day is the earnest of many. The Lord who brought him through Tuesday can bring him through Wednesday. And one of these mornings you will look up and realize that a whole week has passed in quietness, and your heart will leak out a grateful wonder. Go softly. Do not watch the clock for the full deliverance. Lie low before the Lord, and let His presence be the atmosphere your son breathes. We are not saved by our own fierce grip on faith but by the gentle grip of the Shepherd’s hand on us.

---

Lord Jesus, we do not understand healing as You understand it, but we trust the Healer. Look now upon this dear son. Let Your face shine upon him until every shadow within him turns to noon. Speak peace where the waves roar loudest. Restore what the locusts have eaten. And keep this mother in the hollow of Your hand, breathing in the quietness that comes from casting her cares on You, because You care for her, and for him. Amen.
