We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from a cold. We know that even the smallest ailments can weigh heavily on our minds and bodies, and we stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of our Lord to bring restoration and strength. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We serve a God who heals, and we trust in His mercy and power to bring relief.
But let us also remember that our ultimate healing comes through Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12, it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray together for your healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love and mercy, and we ask that You would touch [###] with Your healing hand. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would bring relief from this cold, restore strength to their body, and renew their energy. Father, we also pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that they may not be anxious but trust in Your perfect will.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises, Lord. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your goodness and love in this time of need. We also pray for wisdom in caring for their body—rest, nourishment, and seeking godly counsel when needed.
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life, we ask that You would reveal it to them, that they may repent and walk in the freedom and healing You provide. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to meditate on His Word. Psalm 107:20 says, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working even when we cannot see it. If this cold persists or worsens, we also encourage you to seek godly medical advice, as the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as part of His healing process.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing for your complete healing and restoration.
