We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is your refuge and strength in times of trouble. The abuse and betrayal you are enduring from those who should love and protect you is deeply grievous, but we stand with you in declaring that God sees every hidden attack and will bring justice in His perfect timing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). You are not alone in this battle—our Lord is with you, and He will fight for you as you trust in Him.
The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your pain is not unseen, and your cries have reached the throne of grace. We rebuke the spirit of manipulation, slander, and emotional abuse that is operating in your family, and we declare that every hidden scheme will be exposed by the light of Christ (Ephesians 5:11-13). No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and the Lord will turn what the enemy meant for evil into a testimony of His faithfulness.
We also encourage you to forgive those who have wronged you—not because they deserve it, but because Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Forgiveness does not mean excusing their sin or allowing the abuse to continue, but it releases you from the bondage of bitterness and allows God to move mightily in your situation. Proverbs 25:21-22 reminds us, *"If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat. If he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for you will heap coals of fire on his head, and Yahweh will reward you."* Trust that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay.
If there is ongoing abuse, we urge you to seek wise, godly counsel and, if necessary, remove yourself from harmful environments. The Lord does not call you to endure mistreatment without boundaries. First Peter 5:8 warns us to *"be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* Do not isolate yourself—reach out to trusted believers who can support and pray with you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your beloved child who is under siege by the enemy through the hands of their own family. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see every tear they have shed, every word spoken against them, and every wound inflicted in secret. We ask that You would rise up as their Defender and Deliverer, breaking every chain of abuse, manipulation, and emotional torment. Expose the darkness, Lord, and bring conviction to those who are participating in this evil. Let Your truth pierce their hearts and lead them to repentance.
Father, we ask for a supernatural breakthrough—a miracle that only You can perform. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and surround this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them wisdom to know how to respond, strength to set godly boundaries, and courage to walk in forgiveness while trusting You for justice. Let them experience Your love in tangible ways, reminding them that they are not abandoned, but deeply cherished by You.
We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus, and we loose the spirit of adoption, reminding this beloved one that they are Your child, heir to Your kingdom, and more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:15-17, 37). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, comforting them and guiding them into all truth.
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of those in their family who are participating in this abuse. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the destruction they are causing, and draw them to Yourself. May this situation be used for Your glory, bringing redemption not only to our brother or sister in Christ but to their entire family.
We thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We declare that this season of suffering will produce perseverance, character, and hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:3-5). Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, dear one. Your breakthrough is coming, and God is preparing you for a testimony that will bring Him glory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in prayer and belief for your complete deliverance.
