We join with you in standing firmly on the promises of our Almighty God, who is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Your prayer echoes the heart of Scripture, and we lift it back to the Lord with you, knowing that He hears and answers the cries of His people. The verse you reference is a powerful reminder of God’s sovereignty and protection over His children:
*"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
We also recall the words of King David, who trusted in the Lord’s deliverance: *"Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). You have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, and we rejoice in this, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Christ is your foundation, and we praise God that you have placed your trust in Him alone.
Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). While we pray for physical protection, we also ask the Lord to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that you may stand firm in faith, clothed in the full armor of God. *"Above all, take up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one"* (Ephesians 6:16, WEB). Let us not forget to pray for those who may seek to harm us, that the Lord would convict their hearts and turn them from their wicked ways. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), for it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4).
We also encourage you to examine your household and your own heart. Are there areas where sin may have given the enemy a foothold? *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Repentance, obedience, and walking in righteousness are vital to standing under the protection of the Lord. If there is any unconfessed sin, we urge you to bring it before the Lord now, that He may cleanse you and restore you fully to His covering.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, trusting in Your promise that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper. Lord, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection to surround our sister, her household, and all who dwell with her. Shield them from every scheme of the enemy, from those who devise evil plans, and from all violence that seeks to harm them. Let Your angels encamp around them, Lord, and deliver them from every snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:3-5).
We pray for divine discernment, that You would expose any hidden dangers and grant wisdom to avoid the traps of the wicked. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let her home be a place of refuge, covered by the blood of Jesus, where no evil may enter.
Father, we also lift up those who may seek to bring harm. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their sin. Bring them to repentance, that they may turn from their wicked ways and find salvation in You. Use even this situation for Your glory, that Your mercy and power may be displayed.
We declare Your victory over every attack of the enemy. Let Your light shine brightly in this situation, exposing darkness and bringing truth to light. May Your name be glorified, and may Your will be done in all things. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, dear sister. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We are standing with you in prayer, believing for God’s protection and deliverance. Do not fear, for the Lord is with you. Be strong and courageous, for He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
