We join you in gratitude for the opportunity God has given you to interview for this role. It is right to acknowledge that every good gift comes from Him, and we trust that He has a plan for your life, including your career. We are reminded in Proverbs 16:3 to "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Your faith in God’s sovereignty over the outcome is commendable, and we pray that He strengthens that trust as you wait.
We also lift up your request for patience, as waiting can often be one of the most challenging parts of this process. The Bible tells us in Psalm 27:14, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." We pray that God fills you with His peace and assurance as you wait, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
While we pray for this specific job, we also ask God to prepare your heart for whatever His will may be. Whether this role is part of His plan for you or He has something even better in store, we trust that He will provide for your needs. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to hold loosely to this opportunity, trusting that God’s timing and provision are perfect.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that You are the giver of all good things. We thank You for the opportunity You have given this brother/sister to interview for this role, and we ask that You would remind the hiring team of their skills, qualifications, and character. Lord, we know that You hold their future in Your hands, and we trust that You will guide them according to Your perfect will.
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace and patience as they wait for a response. Help them to rest in the assurance that You are in control and that Your plans for them are good. Give them joy in this season, regardless of the outcome, knowing that You are working all things together for their good.
Lord, we also pray that You would prepare their heart for whatever Your will may be. If this role is part of Your plan, we ask that You would open the door wide. If not, we trust that You have something even better in store. Provide for their every need, and help them to walk in faith, knowing that You are their provider.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this season, trusting that He will direct your steps. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). May God bless you richly as you wait on Him.
