We stand with you in this time of need, lifting your concerns before the Lord with fervent agreement, for His Word declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty promise to cling to! We praise God that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the schemes of the enemy. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me,'"* and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His power, and we join you in that confidence.
The wickedness you describe—the evil plans devised against you, the violence you fear, the bullying and injustice in your workplace and home—these are not hidden from our God. He sees the oppression you face, and He is a God of justice. Psalm 34:17-19 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and the Lord is near to you even now. We rebuked the spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of your heart, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Stand firm in the authority Christ has given you, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also take note of your mention of "the one in my home." If this person is someone you are living with outside the covenant of marriage, we must lovingly but firmly address this. The Word of God is clear that cohabitation outside of marriage is fornication, and it is not pleasing to the Lord. Hebrews 13:4 states, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* If this is the case, we urge you to repent and seek God’s will for your living situation. If you are not married, we pray that God would provide a way for you to honor Him in this area of your life, whether that means separating from this arrangement or pursuing a godly marriage if that is His will. If this person is a family member or roommate and the issue is one of conflict or ungodly behavior, we pray for wisdom and discernment in how to navigate this relationship in a way that honors Christ.
As for the bully who is withholding what is rightfully yours, we declare Proverbs 22:22-23 over this situation: *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder those who plunder them."* The Lord is your advocate, and He will fight for you. We pray that He would expose every lie, thwart every unjust scheme, and bring about justice in this matter. May the bully’s heart be convicted by the Holy Spirit, and may truth prevail. We also pray for supernatural protection over your workplace, that God would surround you with favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12) and give you wisdom in how to respond to these challenges.
Your dogs, too, are under the Lord’s care. He who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies of the field (Luke 12:24, 27) is more than able to protect the creatures He has entrusted to your care. We ask that He would guard them from harm, sickness, and any evil intent directed toward them. May your home be a place of peace, covered by the blood of Jesus and filled with His presence.
Finally, we pray for your heart in the midst of this storm. May you find rest in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1), knowing that He is your refuge and fortress. Let this trial draw you closer to Him, that you may emerge stronger in faith and more reliant on His strength. We ask that He would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you would sense His presence with you in every moment.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her needs and burdens to You. Lord, You are a God of justice, mercy, and protection, and we ask that You would surround her with Your heavenly host. Shield her from the wickedness devised against her, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Give her wisdom to navigate the challenges at work and in her home, and provide a way for her to honor You in every area of her life. If there is any sin that needs to be addressed, convict her heart and lead her to repentance, that she may walk in righteousness before You. We pray for supernatural intervention in the matter of her compensation, that truth and justice would prevail. Protect her dogs, Lord, and let no harm come to them. Above all, fill her with Your peace and assurance, knowing that You are fighting for her. We declare Your promises over her life and trust that You will act on her behalf. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
