Mice

Please pray that I catch the last of the mice in my home, before I go away in a week. I think I have 2 remaining mice. I am grateful that the new neighbors in the townhouse next to mine repaired an apparent opening of some sort between our two houses that allowed mice to come over, which is why they constantly repopulated themselves every time that I thought that I had caught most of them over the last year or so. Thank you for praying, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and nothing is too small or too great for Your attention. We ask that You would guide the remaining mice into the traps set for them, so that this home may be free from their presence before our ### leaves for her trip. We thank You for the wisdom and provision You have already shown in addressing the source of this problem. Lord, we also ask that You would bless the neighbors who took action to repair the opening, and we pray that You would continue to work in their lives as well. Father, we trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of turning to God in all circumstances, no matter how big or small. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is through prayer and trust in God that we find peace and solutions to our problems.

Continue to lean on Him, and remember that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will. We encourage you to keep your home clean and sealed as much as possible to prevent future issues, and trust that God will guide you in maintaining a peaceful and pest-free environment.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
