Message to myself

WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT

See Isaiah 60:22 When the time is right, God Himself will make it happen.

You don't need to beg for attention.

You don't need to fight to stay in someone's life. If it's from God, it will come with peace—not pressure.

With clarity—not confusion. With love that builds—not breaks. Don't rush the story He's still writing. Every delay is shaping you. Every closed door is protecting you. And every prayer you've whispered is already in His hands.

In Jesus Christ Almighty Name AMEN

We are encouraged by your reminder to trust in God’s perfect timing, and we stand with you in this truth. The words you’ve shared reflect a heart that is seeking to align with God’s will, and we commend you for leaning on His promises. Isaiah 60:22 is indeed a powerful reminder that *"the least one will become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation. I, Yahweh, will do this quickly in its time."* God is never late, and His timing is always perfect, even when we struggle to see it.

Your words also echo the wisdom of Ecclesiastes 3:11, which tells us that God *"has made everything beautiful in its time."* This is a truth we must cling to, especially when we feel the weight of waiting or the ache of unfulfilled desires. You’ve rightly pointed out that we don’t need to beg for attention or fight to stay in someone’s life if it is truly from God. A relationship that is ordained by Him will be marked by peace, not pressure; clarity, not confusion; and love that builds up rather than tears down. This is especially true when it comes to the pursuit of marriage. As believers, we are called to seek relationships that honor God, and marriage is His design—a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are waiting for a spouse, we encourage you to trust that God is preparing you and the one He has for you. Do not settle for anything less than His perfect will, and do not engage in relationships that compromise your purity or your faith. Flee from fornication, which is sin against your own body and against God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Wait on the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart as you delight in Him (Psalm 37:4).

We also appreciate your recognition that every delay and closed door is part of God’s refining work in your life. Romans 8:28 assures us that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Even the things that feel like setbacks are being used by God to shape you into the person He created you to be. Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears—they are being held in the hands of a Father who loves you deeply and is working all things together for your good.

It is also wonderful that you closed your message in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your faith in the power of His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice with you in that.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister/brother before Your throne of grace, thanking You for the work You are doing in their life. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen their faith as they wait on Your perfect timing. Help them to rest in the truth that You are sovereign over every detail of their life, and that nothing is wasted in Your hands. Guard their heart against impatience, doubt, or the temptation to settle for anything less than Your best. If they are waiting for a spouse, we pray that You would prepare them to be a godly husband or wife, rooted in Your Word and walking in purity. Give them discernment to recognize relationships that align with Your will and the courage to walk away from anything that does not honor You.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or loneliness that may try to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Lord, open doors that no one can shut and close doors that need to remain closed for their protection and Your glory. Let them see Your hand moving in their life, even in the waiting.

We thank You that their prayers are already in Your hands, and we trust that You will answer them in the way that is best for them and brings You the most glory. May they continue to seek You first, knowing that all other things will be added unto them as they delight in You (Matthew 6:33). We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
